Fifteen minutes later, Red was still at her front-door. But instead of leaning against it, she had sunk to the floor, simply sitting there. Her fingers stopped tracing along her lips awhile ago but were still pressed on it.

With an absent mind she stared into her apartment that felt cold and empty without Whites presence. It felt so natural, when he entered her living space earlier in the day, him being in her room. Like they were already living together... Or at least visiting each other quite often.

Another fairly long moment passed where Red was in her dreamworld, before her mind started to work again.
Finally grasping the fact, that she was alone again, Red stood up, beating the dust out of her shorts.

Thinking to herself that, she should clean more often. It would be mortifying if White visits and her place was dirty like hell. Even more if it would happen multiple times.
Maybe he would stop liking her or worse telling other people that she isn't capable of taking proper care of herself.

A nasty uncomfortable shiver ran down along her spine as her thoughts set sail on their own, running wild and left a horrid taste in Reds Mouth.

'Eww...! I should start cleaning before such rumors might spread.'

With this in mind, she walked back over into her living-/ bedroom and began to tidy up.

First she put the tea away, that had been forgotten before she picked up literally all her clothes, except the ones she wore. Not giving a single thought about whether ALL her clothes would fit into her washing machine, she tucked them in there anyway. While the laundry machine did it's thing, she vacuumed and swiped her floor.

After the thorough swiping and general cleaning and tidying, Red, breathing heavily, fell on the now sparkling ground.
Filled with happiness she closed her eyes to rest a bit before she had to hang up her laundry to dry.

Even though she was tired she couldn't really relax. Something was bugging her. Another nasty feeling in her guts but she couldn't pin it out exactly.

It was this kind of feeling you get shortly before when something bad is about to happen.
She tried to shove this feeling away, further back into her head and took a deep breath. Finally her mind let her slip into a dream like state.

Sadly, Red wasn't given the time to relax very long. Abruptly, she had to open her eyes as the ground started to vibrate.
Still very sleepy, the situation confused her at first. But as the house began to shake from left to right, she was fully awake and struck with fear. In a hurry she stumbled on her feet.

Most of the time, a little shaking was nothing to freak out about but her house was in an area, where scratches and such things were not really common. So her first instinct was to hide under her tea-table.

Watching how cracks started to run all over the walls and debris fell from the ceiling, Red's fight and flight reflex kicked in. Well, to be honest more flight than fight, so she run over to the other side of her living room, onto her little balcony.

The balcony faced the normally lively street that was right under it. But right now all the other cells were running for their lives, fleeing the site.

Almost crying, Red panicked. What should she do? Behind her the crumbling house and in front of her a deep drop. Both of the options guaranteed her death. Going back into the house would mean getting crushed by falling debris. Jumping from the Balcony would end in her being mashed on the floor.

Oh! And the third possibility was being killed by an intruding bacteria. How great!

Red had to be a cancer cell or something like that in her previous live, otherwise she couldn't think of a plausible reason for her bad as fuck karma.
And the cleaning she did earlier was for nothing now.
