Morning - Continued

Abhay, with a slight limp, finally made it to the dining room, where everyone else was trying their best not to burst into laughter. Swara, the self-proclaimed Lioness, couldn't hold back her curiosity and concern.

SW: Devil, what happened? Were you sleepwalking or practicing for a new dance move? Last night, you were perfectly fine, and today you're tiptoeing like a ballet dancer with a backache.

Sanskar, ever the prankster, couldn't resist throwing in his two cents.

Sa: Maybe he's trying out a new "Sleepwalk and Stumble" routine for the next kingdom talent show. It's the latest trend, you know?

Naturally, Abhay's condition became the topic of the day, and the boys rushed to his side, providing all the support and comfort he needed, both physically and emotionally.

N: Do you need medicine, Abhay? Maybe we should call for the royal physician or a chiropractor.

Sa: (whispering to Neil) Do you think we can get him a throne-like chair? You know, for the royal touch.

Abhay, trying to save face, nonchalantly dismissed their concerns.

Ab: No need for medicine or doctors. I simply had an "unexpected dismount" from my royal bed.

Sa: (sarcastically) Ah, the royal bed, known for its surprise ejections. I hear it's a feature in the new Mehindra Kingdom Sleep Number Beds.

As the conversation unfolded, Avni deciphered the silent communication between Piya and Abhay. Understanding the source of the incident, she couldn't help but join in the fun.

Av: (teasingly) Abhay, was it a nightmare about a ghost or perhaps a dream where Piya was teaching you Kung Fu in your sleep?

Piya, feeling guilty, couldn't escape the teasing either.

P: (with a puppy face) Sorry, Abhay, it wasn't intentional. My past decided to join us for a sleepover, and things got a bit chaotic.

N: (raising an eyebrow) Your past visits in your dreams and gives Abhay a hard time? What kind of past do you have, Piya?

P: (sheepishly) Let's just say, my past has its own VIP access to the dreamland.

Swara, being the assertive leader, took charge of the situation and gave Abhay his royal marching orders.

SW: Devil, two days of bed rest. No work, no royal duties, just rest. We'll handle everything. And today, you shall sleep in the guest room. Consider it your royal retreat.

Ab: (with a hint of panic) Wait, Piya's giving me a message, and now I have to spend the night in the guest room? I'll be fine; the royal backbone is sturdy.

SW: Did I ask for your opinion? No. Off to the guest room, your Highness.

Later in the guest room, Piya felt a bit guilty but couldn't help but chuckle at the unexpected turn of events. Abhay, on the other hand, was trying to wrap his head around the fact that his best friend's nightmare had caused him such a hilarious predicament.

Abhay: "Seriously, Piya, of all the ways I could have ended up injured, a kick from a nightmare is probably the last thing I expected."

Piya, still apologetic, couldn't contain her laughter.

Piya: "I'm really sorry, Abhay. I didn't mean for this to happen. Nightmares are unpredictable."

Abhay, gesturing to his back, replied, "Well, this nightmare had a strong kick, I must say."
