Chapter 9

"Seriously? A walking stick?" Kara huffed as she looked down at the object.

"Guys, I'm fine I don't need a walking sti-" Kara fell as she let go of the walking stick.

Everyone laughed as Kara laid on the floor, huffing and puffing.

"I know if i say this, I'm going to get thrown into space as soon as your're better..." Mon-El said.

"But..... I told you so." Mon-El looked at Kara with puppy dog eyes.

Kara knew she couldn't resist those puppy dog eyes. It was literally the only thing stopping her from throwing him into space.

"Oh I could just kiss-" Kara leaned in to kiss him but was cut off by Mon-El.

"Oookaayyy, let's help you get up, shall we?" Mon-El tried to not lookout Alura's dagger eyes that were trying to stab him in the soul.

"You're so sexy" Kara said to Mon-El smiling deeply.

Mon-El was seriously confused why she was saying this infant of everyone. Usually she was so private of our relationship.

"Alex will you come with me for a second?" He said as he sat Kara back onto the medical bed.

Alex got up from the chair and followed Mon-El into the control room.

"What's up?" Alex asked.

"Kara is acting weird, she never said that kind of stuff to me with people around before i left. We always had such a private relationship." Mon-El was serious, and Alex could see it in his face.

"Hmm, I don't know Mon-El. She only called you sexy, sound like a pretty normal relationship to me." Alex said.

"She tried to kiss me, Alex. I mean I'm not objecting but it's not normal for her to do that."

"Okay, I'll run some tests on her. I tell you if anything comes up abnormal. " Alex said, reassuring Mon-El.

"Thanks Alex." Mon-El said, as he hugged her.

Mon-El turned and started to walk away.

"Oh Mon-El?" Alex called.

Mon-El turned to face her, "Yeah?"

"You're being stupid by the way" Alex laughed.

Mon-El rolled his eyes and walked off.

Medical Bay

"Hey Mom" Kara smiled lightly up at her mother.

"Hello my sweet child. What has made you so happy?" Alura looked down at Kara.

"Well I have just got back two people i love, and gained another. What's not to be happy about?" Kara asked.

"Well you just seemed very happy with Mon-El, that's all." Alura said, tucking Kara's hair behind her ear.

"I am happy. He just makes me so happy, like so incredibly happy" Kara smiled, her eyes were sparkling like the Rao's light, but her eyes were much darker than usual.

That's when Alura knew it. Kara was being affected by some sort of substance. Her eyes, bluer then the deepest sea.

Alura got up and rushed of to Alex who was sitting at the control room computers.

"Mom?" Kara asked as her mother left her.

"Alex, i think something is wrong with my daughter!" Alura
