Yoongi entered the room with wide eyes and looked around for an instant. He didn't think that the school would have such a large hall for the performances today.

Most people were already sitting in their seats and Yoongi saw from afar how his reserved space was free and waiting for him. There were many parents, but also friends and acquaintances of the dancers in the audience.

Some very influential people for the dance industry had also come to see the up-coming stars of today live and in color.

He got goosebumps by the thought of having to rap in front of so many people, but his time hadn't come yet. Yoongi was not here because of himself. He wanted to see Rose.

For a long time he had wanted to stroke her head, give her dirty comments or just enjoy her presence. He sighed as he walked backstage but hid from her eyes. Although he was here, she shouldn't know.

Yoongi wanted to see Rose, he would never miss a performance of her no matter how hard they would argue, but she shouldn't know about it.

As he hid half behind the curtain and Rose ran too close to him, he jumped when Jimin put his hand on Yoongi's shoulder. "Hey man, it's just me.", he laughed and ran his fingers through his hair as he often did.

"You scared me.", Yoongi grumbled, giving him a reproachful look. Jimin raised his hands apologetically. "No intention. What are you doing here?"

"Oh, I was doing stuff near here and thought I'd drop by."

"You happened to be on the other side of town? Sure.", Jimin laughed. "Just admit that you're here for Rose."
Yoongi shrugged and leaned against the wall. "Why should I? We have nothing to do with each other."

Jimin grimaced and rolled his eyes. "Since when do you not talk to each other anymore?"
Yoongi lost track of time. It could be two days but also 4 years. Either way, he missed her terribly.

"I think about two months.", he mumbled, looking down at the floor. They never stopped talking for that long. Of course they argued a lot but not that badly.

Actually he wanted to make an effort not to show, but he didn't succeed. He wanted to pretend to be strong and do well without her so Jimin could tell her how good he was.

But deep down he didn't want that at all. Yoongi wanted Rose to know he was miserable without her, but his pride was too big. "Two months? Holy fuck." Yoongi didn't say anything, but watched as everyone was running excitedly around the area and many stylists were doing the dancers' make-up.

"She doesn't talk to me either.", Jimin said after a while. Surprised, Yoongi looked at him and saw a bitter smile. "Really?"

"Yeah, she suddenly begged Hoseok to dance with her without telling me anything. She said she would rather dance with Jungkook again than with me.", he snorted indignantly. "Hoseok, as nice as he is, of course didn't say no and they get along really well anyway.", he explained.

Yoongi nodded and played with his fingers. When he was under stress he always tore his skin until it bled, as he did now, but he just couldn't stop it. "So... you two are not fucking or anything?"

Jimin laughed loudly so that others turned to him and Yoongi slapped him on the arm. "Be quiet, I want to stay undetected."

"No, we're not fucking. We're far from that.", Jimin said, now leaning against the wall as well. Both watched as two girls stood by Rose and they went through the choreography together again.

"Today is about qualifying for the championships.", Jimin explained the table with the names of the groups behind them. "There are several categories like duets, modern dance, hip hop, girl group etc. We try to participate in as many as possible."
