This was inspired by Wishmaster 4: The prophecy fulfilled, in it *spoilers* the Djinn falls for the one who woke him. The movies aren't that good, besides maybe the first one and second( which where the story takes place, so rest easy), but I found the Djinn and the concept of it all interesting.  So without further ado, I give this new story!

( Nicole's POV )

When you think scam artist you probably automatically think, an old sleazy guy in a cheap suit with enough grease in his hair to make french fries and a forced smile, am I right? Yeah, that's my profession and it's probably not ordinary since I own a chain of antique stores. Well, here's the thing: my folks on my mom's side are collectors of old stuff from their Persian family line, dating back to 900 years ago. I'm talking about old paintings, statues, rugs, rocks, that kind of thing. My old man had the bright idea to sell all these things to make a fortune, which is probably the only reason why he married my mom.

After pops retired with plenty of money to live in luxury, I took over the business; meaning I got the entire company and the family fortune. Though it's really not honest money due to the fact, half of the stuff we sell is straight up junk we say are antiques. Do you want a chair from the pioneer days? Well, I'll sell you a dusty rocking chair I found in my attic. Thank you for your $400! Okay, so that means I'm automatically a bad person? Well, you're not wrong, yet not quite right. I have my reasons for doing this and not ending it so I can put all of that behind me, but this is how I can help my best friend. Wait, wait! I'm getting ahead of myself, so let me start from the beginning.

I think it was on a Wednesday.

( Wednesday now in 3rd POV)

" You sure this is a vintage 1950 Tube AM radio? "

A man of a scrawny build with brown eyes and brown hair questions, looking over the radio skeptically. Nicole gives a soft sincere-looking smile before taking the radio from the man's hands.

" I assure you handsome, this is really the radio you're looking for. Even says it right on the sticker, see? "

Nicole turns it upside down to point out with, a perfectly manicured nail, the sticker saying it was from General Electric. The man looks up at her with a raised eyebrow, skepticism colored all over his face. Nicole gives a sigh in response.

" Look, how about this. You seem like a decent guy, so if you're so worried about the radio breaking down, I can give you a special edition of spare parts for half the price if you buy that with it. "

Nicole watches the man's expression carefully, as his eyes looking up to the right before looking left and then back to her and the radio. When he looked back at her, Nicole knew he had him, hook line and sinker.

" Sure, I'll by both of those. "

Nicole gives a cheerful smile with her eyes crinkling at the edges.

" Jody! Can you please get the nice man, the spare parts for a 1950 Tube AM radio? "

The brunette with green eyes, named Jody, nods making her ponytail bob slightly. She walks over to the section with the label " Spare parts " to hand over to her boss over the counter.

" Thank you very much, darling. "

Nicole's pleasant voice compliments, making Jody smile back.

" You're welcome, Ms. Larson. "

Nicole let's out a small giggle that sounded like tinkling bells.

" Oh Jody, you know I prefer Nicole. I like to get along with my employees as to be able to do our jobs with better efficiency, and what better way than with familiarity so we know what's best for the other? Don't you agree? "
