Lydia's P.O.V

"Two more minutes, two more minutes and it's over" I couldn't stop staring at the watch, I was so tired of that biology class. I really didn't care about the photosynthesis, really I didn't. I already knew all that stuff, let's say that you can call me the-smart-girl-who-looks-dumb.

The heat in the classroom, the sound of the pencils against the surface of the paper, the pen against the whiteboard, everything just became so annoying and loud. I was thinking that it would last eternities until:

The bell rang.

"FINALLY!" I guess I just screamed too loud, because the teacher was now staring at me with eagle eyes.

"How about everyone leaves the classroom except Lydia Martin?" the teacher said.

I heard giggles from the classmates. Great now I have to hear a lecture about the importation of the biology classes. That's not best thing to get when your teacher practically hates you for unknown reasons. I approached the teacher's desk, I was ready to lose my entire break but thankfully he just said:

"You can leave now" I didn't question anything, I escaped this one. Lucky strike.

That was the second week of school, I still haven't had any friends. God I miss my old class. I went to the bathroom to check my make up (you know, a girl has got to do, what a girl has got to do!), but unfortunately all the mirrors were occupied so I just leaned on the wall waiting for the girls to exit.

"What are you looking at freak?" one of the girls said. She had light brown hair, dark eyes and was wearing a denim short-very-short-skirt and a white crop tank top, definitely one of those I-can-get-them-all girls, with a big ego certainly.

"I'm not looking at you, don't worry" I said calmly.

"Why aren't you? Don't you think I am pretty?" the other girls chuckled.

"Well..." I didn't know how to form the sentence. But as soon as I hesitated her hand was hitting my face, her knees and elbows were leaving bruises all over my body, her feet insisted to punish my legs until and I just fell on the floor. They laughed. I did nothing to protect myself, I just stood there motionless, nose bleeding and sore muscles. I couldn't move, I was in shock.

Gladly a few minutes later a black haired girl entered the room.

"OH MY GOD!" she screamed "Are you ok? Who did this? You need to go to the infirmary!"

"I think I can't walk" I used all my breath to speak which wasn't many. I felt like I was blacking out and then everything became dark. I fainted.

When I woke up I was in the infirmary. The nurse was checking my leg, my knee looked very swollen, I couldn't help but tear up.

"It's okay sweetie, you just need to put some ice, nothing major"

"Thank you" I managed to say between the hiccups and tears.

"Who did this to you?" the girl who helped me was sitting right next to me, I didn't even notice it.

"I don't know who are they"

"As soon as you see them you HAVE to tell me. Get it?" the girl had a very serious and concerned look. - I nodded yes - She was the nicest person I've ever met so far in school.

"I'm Lydia"

"I'm Allison! Well let's get out of here, can you walk?"

"I guess so..." I said looking at the nurse.

"Yes, your good to go, just take care. Loads of ice on that knee miss!"

I was so glad the nurse didn't insist in forcing me to talk, I guess she knew I wouldn't like chatting about it.
