the taxi was parked outside her house. she smiled at the driver, who was an old man possibly in his 50s who waved at her. he helped place her luggage in the car and smiled widely.

"hello dear, where are you headed?" the taxi driver said politely.

"to the airport please." she said quietly and put her earphones on and played some music.

she stared outside the window as beautiful greenery passed by. it was like a fairytale ending. but her ending would never come true.

in reality, her fairytale was the cold bitter truth and disgust. so, she just smiled to herself sadly and closed her eyes.
