Jessica's pov:

The first day of school.

obviously I don't want to be here. I don't know anyone or where anything is which makes me fucked.

I open the paper map of the school I got from the office and make another left turn I'm positive is the right way the map is telling me to go just to end up in the boys locker room when I glance up from the paper.

Fuck.

"A little lost?" I hear a chuckle behind me.
I slowly and painfully turn around to see a guy my age that's as tall as a tower with a wet towel over his shoulders. He raises his eyebrow at me with a smile on his face.

I gulp, looking up, blushing at him.
"I'm a bit lost" I smiled.

He nodded turning to his locker, placing his damp towel down and pulling a shirt over his toned stomach."Your lucky I'm the only one in here" he laughed;
"and that I had shorts on this time"

THIS time??!?

i blushed looking down as he walked past me, opening the entrance to the locker room, turning to me.
"What room are you looking for?" He smirked at me.

"Thanks again" I beam at him before placing my hand on the knob of my first classroom.
"Wait-"
Before I turn it he grabs my other hand, turning me towards him so our faces are inches away.
"What's your name new girl?"
The bell rings and people start shuffling to their classes.

"Jessica." I smile.
"Jessica " he repeats, smiling as our eyes connect once again.

The warning bell rings before we can say anything else and he jumps away. I open the door to my class and then i realize I didn't get his name.

I guess I'll find out later then ?

I turn around, glancing at the halls to see his head poke out of a class three doors down mine.
"Jess! Come find me at lunch, behind the library!" He calls after me as I nod quickly at him before he goes to class again.

I find a seat in the back of the room and set my things down until i notice some of the girls class are glaring at me. I glare back until they feel uncomfortable and I can't help but think

what kind of person did I just befriend to get glares this harsh from strangers?
