It has been a month after the last meeting, and Canada is buried in paper work. He sighs and lays back on his swivel chair, "I wonder what America is doing", he asks himself. He stands and stretches, hearing the satisfying popping of his joints. He smiles, and turns on the tv, and walks to the kitchen for something to eat. If the meeting were still a thing it could have been tomorrow, but turns out its actually not. So what's the point. Canada sighs and turns on the stove. He likes pancakes and maple syrup, but he doesn't eat it everyday so he doesn't get bored of eating it. He usually eat pancakes on his birthdays, holidays, or days people remember him. So he'll have an omelet today, with bacon and hashbrowns. He lightly oil the pan with olive oil, and grabs a bowl. Canada looks up to the tv, but notices it flashing, and it's a warning. Canada puts the bowl down and notices it's actually a missile warning. He panics and calls the prime minister, but as it turns out Trudeu was calling him first. "Mr. Williams, have you seen the warning!", Canada nods, "yes sir, but what does it mean?" Canada asks, "it means that there is a vehicle ready outside your house, it'll take you to an underground facility, along with me and a few other politicians," Canada nods grabs his camping gear off the hanger in his closet. Then proceeds to put on his hiking boots and thick jacket just in case. It's late September so it didn't feel all that weird. Turns out the prime minister was not kidding, there was already a vehicle ready to go. Canada calls kumajirou who jumps off the couch and runs to the door. He quickly shuts the door and locks it, picking up his bear on the process. Canada runs to the vehicle and slams the door, "okay, let's go," Canada says to the man in the front. The man nods his head and starts the engine.

The base was not that far from his house, in fact it only took about 3 minutes to be quite frank. Canada like to live near the prime minister of course, just in case of situations like this. The car stops and Canada runs out of the vehicle, an escort helps him with his bags into the building. Canada holds tightly onto kumajirou. He is guided through the maze of hallways, and is squished into the elevator along with a few other people. They are brought down into the lower levels. As soon as they reach the bottom Canada hears a loud bang, and a large rumbling can be felt around them. The other people begin to stumble a bit. Canada's heart races, and is filled with nothing but panic. The other people in the elevator begin to cling a bit. The large elevator doors open to reveal the prime minister, he gives Canada a sad look and orders a group of body guards to escort him into his quarters. Canada obliges and follows the men clad in black. He looks back to the group of worried, and confused people in the elevator. He is also worried and confused, and he really wants to know what is going on.

He finally reaches his room after a few minutes. The door clicks behind him, and he sets his camping back down behind him. He sits on his bed with his head on his hands, and sighs heavily. He hears to door open, so he looks up to see the prime minister with a couple of gaurds. He signals for them to be alone. The gaurds nod and walk out, closing the door behind them. "I'm guessing you want to know what has happened, well I'll tell you one thing. It's not a missile" Trudeu puts his hands in his pockets. "It was a nuke." Canada was silent. His heart pounding against his chest. "A-a nuke?" Canada's hands tremble. "Yes, they struck Cold Lake in Alberta first, then the capital," Trudeu clears his throat. "They both came from Europe, and Asia, that is all I will tell you," Canada sighs and hugs kumajirou close, "thank you for tell me mr. Trudeu," he tells him. "Your clothing, and food ration will be sent to your room as soon as ever body is in their rooms, so it will take a while," says Trudeu, "How many people?" Canada asks him. "About three hundred people in this facility, and we have enough food for a thousand years Mr. Williams," he gives Canada an ID card, "this is used for things like using the facilities, you need to ask permission for them of course," Canada nods, "The cafeteria is on the middle floor, dorms are on the first four floors, bathrooms are beside the cafeteria, food and water resources are on the last three floors as well," Trudeu gives him an area map, and a timetable of sorts. "Thank you sir, for helping us," Trudeu nods. "We were working on this program for a few years now, I'm disappointed that we are using it this early," Trudeu sighs. Canada nods in understanding, "I undertsand," he tells him. Trudeu nods and walks out, "get some rest mr. Williams," Canada nods and Trudeu closes the door.
