A few hours later I was released from the hospital despite almost being strangled to death by Vahl. The whole ride home, which we took in Cierra's Ford Mustang, was deathly silent. When we pulled up into the driveway, I pulled Cierra aside to ask her what she meant by "future sister-in-law". She dug into her handbag and produced a black box and handed it to me. I opened it and inside was a beautiful gold wring with the numbers "101" engraved with diamonds on it.

My breath literally went out of me. I couldn't breath, let alone talk. I hugged my younger sister with all my might, and when my breath came back, whispered so Cywren couldn't hear me, "Thank you so much! How could I ever repay you!" She chuckled and pointed behind me and bubbled, "Maybe start with asking your girlfriend? That might help!" I turned around to see Cywren standing at the front door, holding her framed Vault 101 jumpsuit, tears in her eyes. "You saved it?" She cried. I walked over and set the suit on Cierra's car, then hugged her. "Of course I saved it, baby! I always wanted to remember the one who I know was God's match for me!" I said into her shoulder, holding down my own tears. I pulled away and got on one knee. "But now, I have the real thing!" I said, pulling out the ring and opening the box.
