When my fears were denied the next morning, I sighed in relief. The only problem was I couldn't focus any more. With my college application at Hartford coming dangerously close, I feared for my family's safety. Cywren noticed this and was constantly saying that she'll look over the family for me, but I wonder if that's enough. Up until recently I thought I was the most dangerous thing out there besides Cywren, but at the same time, I didn't know she was alive until about a month ago. But thanks to my overly-generous mother, I got a brand new ride: a 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429 decorated in the VT colors for my birthday. From what I've read, the 429 was a rare car, so I was grateful that my mom went through the trouble to get me a clean Mustang. She said that she bought the car with the profits from the tee-shirt campaign online, which, by the way, was well over $100,000.
Cywren inspected the vehicle, looking it up and down, checking the inside and out. She then opened the door and climbed in, she opened the glove box and put something in it. When she got out, she kissed me for about 3 seconds, pulled away, and hugged me. "Be safe, baby," she said, tears in her eyes.
That would be the last time I would see my family or Cywren for a very long time.
