People say I'm too mature,
I'm too serious when it comes to working but I act childish when it comes to fun.
People say I wear my heart on my sleeve and that is why I get hurt,
Hurt by those that I start to love,
I'm the type to fall head first and then drown,
If I let you hurt me, forgiveness will come right after.
But my problem is that I look at the details,
I will memorize the smile on your face, the hand gestures you make when you speak, and even way you look when your brain is off in space.
Now tell me why I tell everyone to hurt me,
I'll tell those who warn me that they will cause the end of my emotional existence to make sure I am left in a soul-crushing wave of hurt,
When they joke and say I'll ruin your life,
I'll look at them and say okay do it.
People say I am too forgiving, but maybe I like getting hurt for no reason.
