---Niall's POV---

"I'm sorry mate, but we have rehearsals today." Liam says.

"Can't I miss it? I don't want to leave her."

"It's our first day. We go on tour in a month. You can leave a note for her saying you're at rehearsals.... That is, if she wakes up." I don't say anything. "You did tell her about the tour coming up, right?"

"No...."

"Niall!"

"I was gonna tell her the day she came back from James's!"

"Damn it...."

"Yeah.... I just feel horrible because it's basically, as soon as she recovers, I'm going on tour."

"She can come with, you know. I'm pretty sure they'll allow it considering what has happened."

"True.... I don't know. I don't want to leave her because Doc said that she might wake up today."

"Niall...."

"I know. I know."

"I'm sorry to say this, mate. But this is your job. It has been this way for years. She's a girl that you just met a few months ago."

"She's not 'just a girl'. You don't know her like I do."

"You're right. But you need to make these kind of decisions in your life."

"I know." Silence fills the room. "Fine. I'll come. I'll leave her a note and tell the doctor."

"Okay. I'll wait in the hall."

"Okay."

Liam walks out and I sit down in a chair. I write Cheyenne a note telling her where I'll be and to call if she wakes up. I leave the note on her phone and go find the doctor. I find him at the nurses station.

"Hey Doc, I need to go to rehearsals this afternoon.."

"Alright. Is she still unconscious?"

"Yeah.. Can you tell her where I am if she wakes up?"

"Sure thing."

"Thanks."

I walk over to Liam.

"You ready?" He asks. I nod.

I just hope she doesn't wake up while I'm gone...

***3 hours later***

---Nurse's POV---

Rapid beeping comes from a room. My head snaps up, looking in the direction of the noise.

"CODE BLUE!" I shout and run into the room. I check her eyes, they're not dilating. "SHE'S SEIZING!"

I roll the patient onto her side. She stops seizing, however there's no heart beat.

"Get the crash cart!" Another nurse shouts.

I turn her onto her back and rip open the gown. I place heart monitors on her chest.

A nurse brings in the crash cart. I grab the shockers.

"Give me 50 volts!" I shout. "CLEAR!"

Shock.

"Another 50!"

Shock.

"Another!"

Shock.

"Damn it! Don't leave me!"

I start CPR.

"Come on. Come on. Don't give up..."

1-2-3-4-5 breathe.

"Come on. Come on, Cheyenne!"

1-2-3-4-5 breathe.
