Guitar lessons (TFF)

Chapter 14

                                                                                         *Curt's P.O.V*

You wouldn't believe what I saw. Never would you believe it. I go to tell Roland something in the recording studio and when I open the door do you know what I see?

I see him in there kissing the girl I like!

They're both in their underwear kissing on top of each other on the couch! How could he! Roland knew I liked _________! But there they are, and they look like they're about to get it on, if they didn't already!

I still can't believe it. I knew ever since he went into the future where ________ is, that he'd been acting differently. I told him that I liked her and he said: "That's cool". That's all he said, he never mentioned anything else but no, there he was kissing her.

So I closed the door and ran back into the closet behind the stage. And that's where I'm at now.

I think I'm going to go find Ian and Manny becuase the last person I want to see right now is Roland. He's supposed to be my best friend, but best friends don't just go along kissing the girl you like.

I run out of the closet and out of the whole studio. Then I walk down the block to the place with all of the band equipment where Ian and Manny usually hang out. I go inside and sit down with them at a table.

"Hey guys", I say trying to keep my calm.

"What's up Curt. I thought you were going to work on the newest song with Roland.", Ian says.

"Oh yeah, I was. Until I saw him with her."

"With who?", Manny asks.

"Remember when Roland gave that girl ________ guitar lessons?", I say.

"Sure, ________ helped us out by playing the guitar for The Working Hour at that one concert.", Manny says.

"Well it's her. He was with her. And this time he wasn't giving her any guitar lessons."

"So what? What are you trying to say Curt?", Ian asks.

"I'm trying to say that Roland was in the recording studio kissing her!", I say. These numbskulls don't understand anything.

"Congrats to Roland! She's his girlfriend, huh? That's wonderful!", Ian exclaims.

"Yep, he always seems so lonely, and they do seem like they'd make a good couple now that I think about it.", Manny says.

I can't believe these guys! Congratulating Roland for "getting the girl".

"You don't understand, I liked her!!!", I shout.

"Oh. Well that's not so good...", Manny says.

"It's not fair! I liked her and he knew it but he still went ahead and kissed her. Or more. They were both in their underwear laying on the couch in there, who knows what else they did!"

"Look, Roland's your friend and you should be happy for him no matter what! There are plenty of other women in the world, you know.", Ian says.

"Are you really going to stick up for Roland? What friends you are. Everyone seems to be betraying me today.", you mutter.

"Wait Curt, you're right. That was very rude of him to do, especially if he knew you liked her. Why don't we go out and get some drinks or something, man.", Ian says.

I don't have anything better to do so I agree to go with them. Maybe this will help me forget about what I saw, although I doubt it. I still can't get believe it.
