Chapter 4

Louis slowly opened his eyes to a hospital ward and some wires attached to him. His chest rose in panic and his breath hitched. " W-why am I here?" I thought I just fell asleep.. Louis panicked

"No.. bud, you fainted and you've been in surgery for 3 hours".  "Your appendix was about to burst you were lucky little one." Harry said looking at the scared boy in the bed .

Louis needed sometime to process all this, "My.. appendix?.. like what even is that? That could of killed me.... what?! He breathed heavily.

He felt Harry's hand sweep across his forehead moving his hair out of the way." Shh.. you're safe now Lou and thank god you seriously had me worried sick. " Louis looked at Harry's green ones and smiled. "Thank you for practically saving my life.

Harry shook his head chuckling,"That's what I'm here for sweetheart."
Louis eyes widened " What about school I.. I had a test today.." Lou it's all sorted okay I called them and let them know what happened and that your gonna bed rest for the next couple of days. " Relax I got it all under control, shh baby " he kissed Louis forehead.

He blushed , Harry chuckled seeing the pinkness on Lou's cheeks. He winced slightly as he moved to get the  water. "Hey I'll get that,don't move okay?" Harry said reaching for the water and handing it to the poor boy.

Lou closed his eyes softly after he drank some of the water feeling it refresh him.  "Are you hungry at all Lou?"

"Not at the moment.. no maybe later.

Harry nodded and sat back in the chair and checked the time on his phone. "I.. could eat some cookies tho and milk.. can I?" Lou asked innocently

"Of course baby boy anything, " I'll have to go to the cafe and get it alright, if you need anything just text me or ring the buzzer okay. " Harry stood up and left right away to get what Louis needed.

Louis felt a little content but not so comfy with the wound he's been left with. He pouted and sighed softly shuffling his feet about.

Harry's POV

Harry joined the que after he picked up a pack of cookies and a milk carton. He felt eyes on him all of a sudden and turned. "Hi I heard Louis tomlinson is in this hospital can I see him I really want to meet him. "
"I'm sorry but right now Louis needs his rest, there for he won't be seeing anyone until he's better. "Harry nodded gently placing down the cookies and milk. " Can I have a glass and plate please " he said to the lady behind the desk. The girl left after Harry told her she couldn't see Louis right now. He paid the women and set the plate and glass on the table and poured the milk into it and put all the cookies on to the plate. He also grabbed a get well balloon and walked back up to the ward.

Louis POV

I heard the door knock and someone walk assuming it was Harry. I opened my eyes slightly seeing a tall girl in front of me. Louis gulped pulling the blanket over him feeling self conscious. "I-I don't want any visitors right now.. I'm sorry I- before Louis could say anymore harry stepped in freezing in his spot.

"What the hell did i tell you?.. how dare you walk into a patients room without permission!,get out before I fucking throw you out. " Harry was fuming

The girl left not saying a word leaving Louis speechless.

"Sorry to scare you little one, I warned her " Louis nodded but looked down at the plate of cookies in Harry's hands and a glass of milk. He gasped " awe you got me a balloon Haz?"

Harry nodded happily," Haz? He questioned

"Um.. yea..yea I- m sorry." Lou stuttered

"No no cutie, it's nice I like it ,Harry blushed placing the cookies on Louis lap whilst giving him the glass of milk. "Thanks so much Harry " Harry watched the small boy tuck into his cookies like a little baby.

Harry bit his lip hard sitting back in his chair.
