*The eight are walking along a path towards Li’Ar after the bandit raid, Jim is limping*

ZD-You know, the raid was fun, but do you know what’s more fun?

KO-What is?

ZD-Watching Jim limp as he curses under his breath with each step

JL-Son of a… wait what?

ZF-So that’s what I was hearing all this time?

JL-Well I mean I was shot in the leg, and all we did was tie some guys shirt around it

DR-What do you want from us?  You brag about bringing a great group together, but none of us has medical training, or magic that could heal us.  If you think about it, it’s your own fault

HR-That does sound like a fairly big mistake on your part

JL-Thanks guys, blame the guy who got injured saving Zytonyx

TR-Look we’re back in Li’Ar, and it seems as though their repairs are coming along nicely

ZF-Do you think we should help out while we’re here?

KO-We have the time, we can at least lend a hand

*They continue walking looking around for ways to help, they pass a young girl crying, most don’t notice her but James does and looks at her for a bit*

KO-Jim, what’s up?

DR-Oh, is it the little girl?  I’m guessing she lost her parents or someone close to her.

ZD-Jim don’t you think she’s a little young for you?

*Jim rolls his eyes and walks over to her*

JL-Hey, what’s wrong?

LG-I haven’t seen my parents since the fire monster came, some people say they died

JL-That’s awful, I lost my parents too, I didn’t see what killed mine

LG-How do you accept it?

JL-I don’t, it’s why I became an adventurer, I couldn’t save my parents, but one day I hope to avenge them, and on my way I will save as many people as I can from experiencing what I did

LG-You’re an adventurer?

JL-Ya, My friends and I actually stopped the elemental that destroyed this town

LG-Thank you so much, now Li’Ar will be safe?

JL-Well if it’s not we’ll come back to make it safe again, Do you have somewhere to go?

LG-No, my uncle is coming to take care of me but he’s still a few days away.

JL-Well here, this should be enough to get you food and a room at an inn for a week

*Jim hand her a pouch that he puts a handful of coins in*

LG-Oh gods, thank you, thank you, how can I repay you?

JL-No need to repay me, just make sure you never give up, the night may be dark, but the dawn always comes

*Jim walks off, and the girl waves to him and runs off cheerfully*

DR-That was unusually deep and caring for you?

JL-Well, I mean she lost her parents and home, who can’t sympathize with that

HR-Well you gave her more empathy than sympathy

KO-Ya and it worked, you completely turned her around, and gave her hope
