*The team gets all of their gear ready and meet up with Ray*
RI-Alright, so I believe I have a plan for how to start this war right, I’m sure the king is getting suspicious if he hasn’t already assumed you joined me, but we haven’t gotten an official declaration so we use Zach to get favour with some of the other tribes, and I’ll share our battle plans when we have a battle to plan for
RyI-Uh Ray, that may be sooner than you think, there seems to be an army approaching
DR-Are they sending ambassadors?
RyI-I believe so
JL-Well it looks like we got a declaration
RI-Alright everybody get into position, be ready for an impending attack
ZD-He’s taking his opportunity while he has the advantage in numbers, I always forget because of how bad a leader he is, he’s a good warrior, and tactician
RL-Ah, Ray, and Dezrex, it’s good to see you are safe, we worried that they may have killed you for helping us
DR-Thanks for the concern, but I know it’s fake, so he sent you as his ambassador?
RL-I always try to be the voice of reason for him, he wants you all to surrender
RI-And if we don’t
RL-He says he has enough warriors to reduce Ignitous to rubble, he’s even going to fight if it comes to that
DR-He’s willing to put in the token effort this time, I guess that means he’s not as confident in his warriors as he says, he hasn’t gone with them to fight since he conquered the kingdom
TR-He is right to be worried, we will defeat him if he fights
RI-You can tell him, if he intends to destroy Ignitous, he will deal with more than he bargained for
RL-I really can’t convince you to reconsider?
DR-No, my father would just enslave all of us even if we don’t fight, we have no other choice now, so go, inform him that he should prepare his troops
RL-I’m sad to see you turn against us Dezrex, but I hope you make it through, your father may have disowned you, but you’re still my son
*Rayna leaves*
KO-Aw that was actually really sweet
DR-No, she just made a huge mistake
HR-How do you figure?
DR-My mother isn’t sweet, she never has been, but she’s always acted like she was, my father told me a few stories of what she has done, she’s an evil, and manipulative woman, she convinced him to conquer this place in the first place, she always acts as his ambassador because she’s the real mastermind of his army, I’m willing to bet she suggested attacking us now
JL-SO how’d she mess up?
DR-She thinks I still believe she’s sweet, her being so sentimental isn’t because she’s worried I’ll get hurt, it’s because she’s worried what’ll happen to her when we win, she’s not confident in their army, so she’s trying to act nice in hopes that we spare her after the war
RI-So you’re saying neither of them is confident in the strength of their army?
ZD-I don’t blame them, they haven’t fought a war in twenty years, for some of them they haven’t had any real war experience, and others haven’t fought recently enough
RI-Everyone, prepare for battle, you eight, I have special instructions for you
JL-What is it?
RI-I’m going to break you into two teams, one will lead the charge into battle, the other will flank them and destroy their camp, and if you get a chance kill their leaders
