'What do we do, Enzo?' The dark haired woman said in the flickering light of the candle, it was their only source of light and warmth.
'I don't know. That's the truth Rama.' He replied — running his hand through his salt and pepper hair in a mix of frustration and deep thought.
'I don't want to give her up, we can't let them take her.'
'I know. If only she wasn't this late born she'd be the same star sign as us.'
'If only the government hadn't taken over this state of a planet...' It was obvious she ended the conversation with this statement, as she walked over to the almost completely melted candle. Only now, could her features be visible. Her pale blue eyes had large bags underneath, she had frown marks around her eyebrows and on her forehead. Her smile lines had almost completely faded. A perfect representation of how dark and miserable it was here in the government's world. Happiness was a luxury not many had hold of.
'Hopefully one day this dejected planet will be changed...'
She whispered wistfully under her breath and tucked a thick strand of hair behind her ear.
