"Hello, little one, my name is Alec. I am a member of the Volturi." He nods to Carlisle and continues."I found him lurking around your territory. Do you know him?"
"Yes, this is my father," I say with no emotion. I was ready to burst on the inside.
Edward gave me a sympathetic look.
"What do you want me to do with him?" asks Alec.
"Kill him," Rose says with no mercy. I don't look away as my father is torn apart and set on fire.
Carlisle thanks Alec then asks ,"With all due respect, what exactly are you doing here?"
"I was sent here by Aro to make sure your new member is properly taken care of and trained. If she has a powerful gift, she will be offered a spot in the Volturi. I will now be staying in a house nearby for a few months, and will be attending school with them."
"School? What do you mean, school?"
"You will be reentering Forks High School as a new student, since you look so different. Your name will be Kathryn Cullen, and you will be a junior with Rose, Alice, Jake, and possibly Alec now. Everyone else will be in different grades."
"When do we start?"
"Tomorrow."
"Lovely."
