Chapter 9:

I had finally fallen asleep at around 4:30 am. The thing is, the doctor came in the room at 6:30. I had gotten 2 hours asleep so I was really tired. The day went by pretty fast. They got taylor walking and finally let him go home. Jordan left the car here from yesterday so that we'd have a car to take home. I walked with taylor outside and into the car. I drive us home and everyone was waiting there. They threw Tay a mini surprise party. It was Jordan (big brother) kev (Tay's dad) Tristen (little brother) kev's girlfriend, his grandpa, Dillon, and Michael (Michael wood, Taylor's friend) there was some snacks and cake and stuff. Tristen had made little crafts that he hung all over the walls. It was so cute and thoughtful. That mini party lasted until 10:00. Tay and I put Tristen to bed, and Dillon and Michael decided to sleep over. We all stayed in the basement. Taylor and I on one of the blow up mattresses, Dillon on one couch, and Michael on the other couch. We watched a few movies and then went to bed because taylor was really tired from being at the hospital and not getting much sleep. The morning came, and we all woke up to Tristen. He came running down the steps. "What do u want Tristen" taylor asked him in his morning voice. "I'm making everyone pancakes with daddy And grandpa!" We were all alarmed by his yelling at 8:00 am. Everyone laughed and got up. We got ready and walked into the kitchen. Tristen brought all of us two pancakes. They were pretty good, but you could tell an eight year old made them. "How about we go fishing today?" Dillon sake all of us at the table. That actually sounded kind of fun. Tristen came and cleaned up all of our plates. "Thank you Tristen!" I said to him as we walked into the garage. We gathered some fishing stuff and each grabbed a fishing pole. Taylor, Dillon, Michael, and I got in the range rover and drove to this lake for fishing. "I don't really know how to do this" I told everyone. Tay came over behind me and held in to the fishing pole and put my hands in his. "Swing back, like this, hold on to this button, and fling it into the water" he showed me while my hands were still on top of his on the fishing pole. "Then just wait a little while to see if you get a bite and then turn this to reel the fishing rod in" he taught me well. It took a while, but I finally got a fish. I didn't know what kind if fish, but I was just happy I caught something. All day we were catching small fish and launching them back in the water. It was actually fun. After we fished we went and sat by the edge of the water. Tay walked up and bought us nachos that we all shared. Once we were finished, we drove Michael and Dillon home. We pulled into Taylor's drive way, but he wasn't getting out of the car. I looked over at him with a confused look. Before I could say one word, he looked at me, and leaned in to kiss me. I kissed back and then all of a sudden I see Jordan looking through the window. Tay pulled away, and just held my hand. I leaned in and put my head on his shoulder. "I love you" he said to me and kissed my forehead. After about 5 minutes of just sitting in the car with Tay, we finally walked in. "Oooooo! I saw you in that car" Jordan yelled as we walked in. I laughed, flipped him off, and walked with taylor into his room. "I better not hear anything nasty going on in there tonight!" Jordan said to us. "Yea you don't have to worry. that won't be happening tonight. Now good night" I yelled to Jordan shutting the door behind Tay and I. "I'm tired babe" taylor said to me in a sleepy voice. I slipped on my gray sweatpants and a tank top and got into bed. He wasn't too far behind me. He got in and turned off the light. I felt him come closer to me, and then I felt him put his arm around me. I tried to make out where his face was, and I leaned in to kiss him. I put my arms around him too and we had a make out session for like 10 minutes. We both fell asleep in each others arms. The next few days were pretty chill. The day that I was not looking forward to had come. The day I had to leave tay in Indiana and go back to Maryland. That morning I got up early and so did Tay. He helped me pack up my bags and he drove me to the airport. "I love you so much. Please text me before you take off and when you land" taylor Said to me with a concerned voice. I gave him a big big hug and put my head on his shoulder. I looked at him and a tear rolled down my cheek. "I don't wanna leave" I said to him crying into his shoulder. He looked at me and kissed me. I hugged him one more time and had to leave. "Please remember to text me!" He yelled to me as I walked into the airport. I went to the gate and sat there on my phone. "at the gate waiting for this stupid plane. I don't wanna leave" I texted my mom. They called my section and I walked on the plane. I had to sit in the back where the bathroom was. It was horrible. "I'm on the plane. Taking off soon. I'll text you when I land, love you babe 😘" I texted Tay. I turned my phone off and sat back to fall asleep. After a four hour flight, I finally landed in Maryland. I got my bags from baggage claim, and threw them in the car. The drive home was really hard. I cried the whole way there. Once I got home my family greeted me, but I automatically ran upstairs to my room. I called taylor. "Hey babe! How was your flight?" Taylor asked me.

"It was good. I was sad the whole time though"

"Aww. I miss you so much already"

The phone call later for a while, but you had to leave your room and get happy. You called grace. "Hey! Wanna hang out tonight?" I asked grace. "Of course! let's go out somewhere. How about we go bowling?" Grace suggested. That sounded fun. I slipped on a pair of shorts and a sweatshirt. I got in the car and went to pick up grace. We got to the bowling alley, ordered some pizza, and started playing. Once the game was over, I had won. "Woohoo! I finally won something!" I shouted as we got back in the car. Grace had decided to sleep over at my house. We went back and I stayed downstairs with my family. I hadn't really seen them all day and I had missed them. Once it got late, grace and I walked upstairs and picked a movie. We decided to watch The Other Women. We both fell asleep during the movie so we just finished it in the morning.
