*Rosaline's POV*

"Well that's the last of them." My father said as he shut the door on the moving truck. I could tell he was ready to cry and honestly, so was I. It's been just me and my father for years. Then again, I've never known my mother. I know that I have a half brother that lives in London, but I've never met him. Anyways, let's get back on topic. I quickly wipe the tears that were threatening to fall and hug him tightly. "I'm gonna miss you so much! I promise I'll check in whenever I can." I say as I let go of him. "Ok just please be safe and don't forget they drive on the opposite side of the road!" he said trying to lighten the mood. I laugh quietly and get into the taxi that's taking me to the airport to catch my flight. It'll be a couple of days for my stuff to get to my apartment. We pulled up to the airport and after security, everything was a blur. Next thing I knew, they were boarding my flight. "All passengers for the London, England flight, you have permission to board at this time. I repeat all London, England passengers you may board at this time."

I grabbed my bags and got my ticket out to show the security guard and to find my seat. I soon spotted my seat and to my advantage I got the window seat. I sat down and opened the window cover and plugged my headphones into my phone. Afterwards, I fastened the seat belt and waited for the plane to leave.

As I'm sitting ,I decide to contemplate and process everything that has happened. I literally just quit my job to try to achieve a dream that may not even happen! Am I insane?! Don't answer that...I soon snap out of my thoughts as the plane engine roars to life.' Here goes nothing!' I think to myself as we began speeding down the runway. Before I knew it, we were thousands of feet in the air.

I decide to look out the window and I'm so glad I did. The clouds white as cotton, the baby blue sky mixed with the bright orange and yellow rays of the sunrise. The view was just breathtaking. It feels almost like you're weightless.

*Time Skip*

I wake to the sound of the flight attendant saying we have about an hour left of our flight. I honestly don't even remember falling asleep. I look out the window and see that we're so close to the airport. I could actually see part of the city! It's amazing! I can't believe I slept for seven hours! Then again, I was up super late packing...After a few minutes the flight attendant came on the intercom again. "Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen! We are now landing in London City Airport. Your arrival time is 12:56pm, it is currently 66 degrees Fahrenheit, 19 degrees Celsius. And let us be the first to say thank you for choosing United Airlines. Welcome to London!" she finished just as we came to a stop and were let off board. After the fiasco of searching endlessly for my luggage and finally finding it at the baggage claim, I hailed a cab to take me to my new home.
