After the weirdest conversation he ever had in his whole life, Eren hung up, knowing that he had to take the bus number 104 to school and that he'd better hurry if he wanted to make it to their first class.
He started rummaging through Levi's wardrobe. Everything looked the same. Black was the very dominant colour here. In the end, he settled for the black, ripped jeans that he found in a neatly folded pile on the desk and a grey jumper with a tiger's head across the chest. Fortunately, he remembered to take the keys from the little cupboard next to the front door, before leaving the apartment in Levi's black boots, his dark leather jacket and a beanie he found stuffed in one of the jacket's sleeves.
He took one last look at the mirror and was shocked at how much like Levi he actually looked. Exactly like him. He was Levi Ackermann. And he kind of did a very good job in dressing like him as well. Not that hard though. His glance fell on the blue eye that had become purple overnight and looked horribly out of place in the pale, yet perfectly shaped face that stared at him from the mirror. He had to do something about that...
Remembering Levi's words about the bus at 7.55 being the last one for a few hours to get him to the city centre, he left the apartment without eating any cake. His stomach was far too tight with confusion and fear he could not have eaten anything right now. Not even his favourite honey loops, he normally had for breakfast.
Eren arrived just after the bell rang, indicating the first break between second and third period. He had taken his time, knowing that Levi himself sometimes took off from school and did not participate in every course, so why should he? Apart from that, he had actually missed the stupid bus twice: The first time it disappeared around the corner, just as he came running towards the station. The second time, he'd been inside the nearest drug store, looking for the palest shade of concealer to hide the black eye.
He entered the school grounds from the back as that entrance was closer to the bus station he got off. He decided to wait there, leaned against one of the brick walls of building number five next to the cafeteria and searched the student crowds for a certain raven haired midget, when suddenly a brown haired tall guy with flashing green eyes came into view. Of course! He should have been looking for himself, not for Levi, as he was somehow magically stuck in Levi's body now and the other way round. He watched himself approach, a weird look put on his face, his eyes full of disgust and confusion and maybe a little bit of fear?
Levi stopped in front of him, looking down at him and frowning.
"This is very weird", he finally stated. Eren nodded. He wanted to say something, but couldn't find the right words.
"What the heck Jaeger, did you put make-up on my face?!", Levi asked, shoving Eren against the wall. Eren took in a shark breath, his shoulder hurting a little from where his own hands were grabbing his shoulder.
"Your eye looked like shit, I had to do something!", he exclaimed, shoving Levi back, without a lot of success. Levi in his own body was just too tall, he was not used to shoving away tall people, let alone being so much smaller than them.
Ah, he hated that midget so much! And now that he tried something nice, like covering up the black eye, all he got were complaints and insults again.
"Take that off, it looks ridiculous!", Levi went on, leaning down a bit, to closely inspect his own black eye.
"Since when do you care about your looks and what other people see?", Eren hissed, crossing his arms over his chest and trying to keep as much distance between the now taller boy and himself.
"That's the point brat – I do not care at all, that's why I would never put make-up on my face to cover it in the first place!"
He stepped away and Eren bounced from the wall.
