"Good afternoon po Miss Lombardi..." one of the employees greeted as she entered the office.

I looked at her, "Yes?"

"Is it okay if I... leave early today?"

"Why?"

"I have to pick up my kid from daycare."

"Oh. Why? Don't you have a nanny to do that for you?" I asked, a little confused.

"I don't have a nanny."

I raised my brows, "So araw-araw mong gagawin na maagang aalis sa trabaho because you have no nanny to look after your kids?"

"Hin-hindi naman po, ma'am. I was forced to fire the nanny, wala na po kasi akong pampasweldo." she answered looking down.

"Tell me... is your salary not enough?" I asked but she did not answered. "What's your name?"

"B-bakit po, ma'am? Are you going to fire me?"

I leaned on my swivel chair, "I'm just asking your name and you'll answer me with a question as well? That's improper."

She told me her name saka ko na siya pinaalis. When she finally left, I called Keeshia and asked her about the employee. I asked for her files and her tracks and developments since she worked here.

Not long, pumasok na agad sa computer ko ang files nung employee. This is the advantage of having a company computer systems application, hindi ka na maghihintay ng ilang oras para iakyat pa ng empleyado mo sa opisina mo ang hinihingi mo. One click and everything's already on your table.

I checked her files. She's incredibly productive. While I'm reading her company development, I feel like belittling myself. Pakiramdam ko, mas malaki na ang na-contribute niya sa company kesa sa akin.

These kinds of employees should have a salary increase. I need to call Dad's adviser first, baka hindi pumayag sa plano ko. I was about to dial his number when someone unmannered entered my office.

"Who gave you the permission to enter my office? Don't you have manners, Galvez?" I asked irritated.

He just smiled at me and seated at the couch at the right end part of the office.

"Don't I have a right to enter my girlfriend's office? And it's almost lunch time. Aren't you going to have a lunch break Miss CEO-OIC?"

"Pwede ba? We don't have to act as a couple kung tayo lang. We're just satisfying your ego to the public, remember?" I grunted. He really pisses me off kahit wala pa siyang ginagawa.

"Hindi talaga kayo close ng word na kindness 'no? Tss. I'm inviting you for lunch, let's go." he said and stood up.

"What makes you think na papayag ako? Busy akong tao Galvez, I have no time for your show off."

He grinned before answering habang nakatayo sa may pinto, "What makes me think? Because pupuntahan natin ang kuya mo so let's get going."

It took me almost a minute to finally get what he meant. Yeah, right! Sabi niya ay dadaanan niya ako sa opisina para puntahan si kuya!

I immediately stood up, took my jacket and hanged it on my left arm, then I picked up my bag and walked to his way.

When I finally reached to his front, he looked at me from head to toe and vice versa. Tapos bigla siyang sumipol.
