"Kuanlin~ Your most favorite person is here~!" Sunhi said as she peeked through the younger's room.
Sunhi frowned at the sight she espied. Kuanlin was crying while Minhyun was comforting him. The room was filled with only Kuanlin hiccuping and sniffling with Minhyun saying sweet things to him. Today was really a sad day for him isn't it?
"Gum drop, what's wrong?" Sunhi asked as she sat next to the crying boy. Kuanlin sniffled as he looked at Sunhi and shook his head slightly. He went closer to Minhyun and placed his head on the elders shoulder. "Don't worry prince, everything will be okay" Minhyun cooed. Kuanlin shook his head and whimpered silently. The elder one sighs sadly and patted the younger's head softly. "Flower, please stop crying" Minhyun said and frowned. Sunhi was still confused why was Kuanlin was crying but still tried and comfort the sad boy.
Minhyun seems to know what Sunhi was feeling cause he was also confused. Both of them didn't know why Kuanlin was crying. Minhyun was the first one to noticed Kuanlin crying, once he asked the younger one, he cried harder.
"I-i don't even know why he's crying" Minhyun stuttered out. No matter what, he didn't like to see someone crying. Especially when he sees Kuanlin crying. He doesn't like it.
"Baby, please tell me why you're crying" Minhyun said. Sunhi nodded her head, she was all silent cause she didn't know what to say. This was all just...heartbreaking for her. For them.
Kuanlin whimpered and wiped his tears away.
"Eomma..."
Minhyun and Sunhi looked at Kuanlin. He finally, finally spoke up.
All the scenarios came to both of them hard. Minhyun shook his head, he didn't want this to happen. Kuanlin is still young in his opinion.
"Eomma is in the hospital hyung" Kuanlin said as he looked down the floor. Minhyun held Kuanlin's hand, "What happened to her?" He asked softly as he kissed the younger's knuckles. Kuanlin looked at him with sadness, "I-i don't know hyung! She-she just called me and just told me that Eomma is in the hospital...No descriptions at all!"He said. By 'she' it means his sister which Kuanlin never really spend time with her.
Minhyun felt his blood boil when he saw Sunhi stand up and left them.
"S-sunhi?" Kuanlin stuttered out when he saw Sunhi walking out the room. He frowned as tears started slipping in again, "S-she left us hyung" Kuanlin said sadly. Minhyun kissed Kuanlin's forehead and wiped the tears away with his thumb, "Baby" He cooed. They both looked at the door and saw Sunhi standing there with a tub of ice cream. "I figured out that uh...Ice cream can cheer you up a little bit" She said and sat next to them.
"I-i thought you left me" Kuanlin said. Sunhi shook her head, "Just like...A-appa" Kuanlin said. The girl shook her head, "No no, don't think like that" She said. "Have some ice cream okay? Cheer up Kuanlin" Sunhi said as she opened the tub of the ice cream.
After they ate some of the ice cream, Sunhi needed to go home cause of her family calling her. "I need to go now sadly, i'll see you guys tomorrow okay?" She said. The two boys nodded and waved at Sunhi, "Bye bye...Thank you for today" Kuanlin said. Sunhi smiled at him, "You're welcome, smile Kuanlin~" She said and did a little aegyo movement making the others smile. After that, she went towards the door.
Sunhi left.
Right now, both of the boys were cuddled up on the couch. Minhyun tried to cheer the sad boy up but was failing cause Sunhi needed to left early.
They were watching some cartoons on the tv cause why not. A few laughs were there.
They spend the whole day like that. It made Kuanlin happy, what a cute boy. "Hyung?" Kuanlin spoke up. Minhyun hummed in response as his attention now was displayed on the younger one. "T-thank you for today" He mumbled. The elder one patted Kuanlin's head, "You're welcome prince" He said.
