It was a bright sunny morning in the archery fields but it seems like a dark cloud hovers over the head of a certain archer repeatedly hitting bullseye's. Tzuyu's on her tenth arrow now, a pile of arrows split in the middle at the foot of her target.

"How long has she been like this?" Irene, the archery team captain, was watching the team's ace and maknae tire herself out but to no avail. Everyone knows how flawless Tzuyu's archery is but what they don't know is how worrying it is when the younger girl gets in one of these moods. Irene had been Tzuyu's mentor and she knows this isn't good.

Chaeyoung, the other youngest checked her wristwatch.

"I think about 30 minutes now" the young one sighed.

"Where's Kim Dahyun?" Irene looked for the only girl brave enough to have a head to head battle with Tzuyu whenever the giant maknae is on a foul mood such as this one.

"I informed her unnie. That dubu is way too happy to get her yoda back. She'll be here in no time" Chaeyoung commented. Dahyun has been whining a lot how Tzuyu had been spending less time on the fields than they usually do.

"I still don't get their dynamic." Irene shook her head.

She's been with the two for years but she just doesn't understand how those two couldn't stand each other but still work so well together. Maybe it's more like Tzuyu rejecting Dahyun's friendship and Dahyun laughing and joking around pissing the maknae off. It's weird but their rivalry somehow pressures the other to always do better and with this Irene always feel like she's the one catching up to the two younger members. Ah, she is getting old for this childish duo.

"Me neither but it works, right unnie?" Chaeyoung asked.

She grew up with Tzuyu and Dahyun. Both are her best friends and if it comes down to it, she wouldn't know which side to pick. Dahyun had always been warm and bright. Always smiling, always laughing, doing that weird eagle dance of hers whenever she wins. On the other hand, Tzuyu had always been distant and arrogant. Chaeyoung figured it was her charm. Because no matter how Tzuyu denies it, Chaeyoung can see how Tzuyu cares for them— yes, even Dahyun, the girl who Tzuyu swore she hates to bits.

Just then a blur of blonde whizzed past through them.

"Hey couz! You wanna play?" the pale dubu shouted, grinning happily at seeing Tzuyu back in her element again. It was disconcerting to see the girl so soft around someone.

"Tsk." Tzuyu just replied. "Nock your arrows and shut up, Kim"

"Don't be like that. You're a Kim too" Dahyun laid down her equipment and started setting up, Tzuyu stopped shooting her arrows to watch the girl slash cousin set up. Both of them stuck to traditional wooden arrows when practicing but Tzuyu knows this time they're going with metal ones.

"So, where do you want to lose?" Dahyun after she had strapped the quiver and arrows on her thigh and grabbed the white bow.

"Kids, can you come here a minute?" Irene shouted from over the field. Dahyun and Tzuyu nodded. Irene was still their team captain after all.

"I don't want any of you getting hurt alright?" Both nodded. "Put on some safety gear, Dahyun and Tzuyu, rest your shoulders for a bit. You don't want to pull a muscle."

The two went on with their business as Chaeyoung instructed the staff how to set up the two's playing field. She always mixed it up a bit every time so they won't memorize any of the pattern.
