"Blue, purple, or burgundy?" Arthit's mum asked
After having breakfast, Arthit, Kong, and both mums were huddled in the living room of Arthit's family home making plans for the wedding. They had gone through various venues and locations, now they were trying to decide on a color and possible theme for the decorations.
This is giving me a headache Arthit groaned.
They still had more than two years to go before the wedding with enough time to plan, but according to both mums, there is no time like the present.
Kong had Arthit lay his head on his laps as he massaged his temples.
Can't we just elope or something? Came Arthit's suggestion
I think we will both be dead if they find out. But there is something else we can do though
What?
Go on a date,
Who says I want to go on a date with you? Arthit asked smiling as he looked up at his fiancé. So where are we going?
Anywhere, as long as it's with you
Tch
"Are you both listening?" his mum's voice rang through the air, snapping them out of their conversation and they both groaned.
"Oh stop your grumbling, no one said planning a wedding was going to be easy, there is still a lot to do and so little time" she said pulling out more papers from a big white binder labeled 'Wedding Plans'. "Or maybe we should hire a wedding planner?" she thought, with everything they had planned to do for the wedding, a wedding planner might help things run smoothly.
Later on, they decided to take a break since they had been at it for a while. This gave Kong's mum the opportunity to show Arthit's mum a video of the events that took place on the night of the Freshy games, it was the one of Arthit singing.
"How did you get that?" Arthit asked as he felt his cheeks heat up, he never thought a video of him singing on that night would turn up, let alone his mum watching it.
"I have my ways" Kong's mum replied smiling, and Kong knew his sisters had something to do with it.
"Arthit, I didn't know you were such a romantic" his mum said as she gushed at the video, "Kongpob, you are one lucky young man"
"Indeed, I am" Kong responded, and a blushing Arthit pulled him out of the room with both mums still watching and commenting over the video.
Break was over, and both boys were back in school for the new school year. The first day of class went on smoothly, and at the end of class, Arthit, Kong, and their friends sat outside the cafeteria catching up with each other. Arthit's mind was preoccupied with thoughts about his upcoming date later with Kong that he did not hear when someone came looking for him.
When she called again, everyone turned to look including Arthit and when he stood up and turned around, she walked up to him and hugged him smiling, then she introduced herself to the rest, as Namtan, Arthit's fiancé.
Everyone was silent as they looked at her, while Kong observed her curiously keeping in mind how she said she was Arthit's fiancé.
"Fiancé?" Kong asked
"I have no idea of what she's talking about" he responded
Arthit was surprised to see Namtan again, Namtan was his friend from high school and the daughter of one of his Dad's business partner. They were not even close friends, more like acquaintances. But the last time he saw her was about three years ago, after they graduated from high school. He really didn't know why she called herself his fiancé.
