Michael's POV
@Aria_Montgomary_ I am not sure what to say any more. I'm sorry.
I push the send button,yes I did send her a DM and not a indirect.
I miss her so much.
I walk into the kitchen to get something to drink, after that I walked over to the living room.
"Hi guys, what are we doing today?" I ask them, it was only Ash and Calum.
"We're just chilling today." Calum said.
I nod.
"Where is Luke?" I ask
"He went to Aria's house." Ash said
"Oh okay, they grew close over the past few days."
"They've always been close friends." Calum said
"I know."
Aria's POV
"Luke." I say speechless.
"This is were everything started Ari. This is where we all came up with the name of our band, this is where we had most of our picnics, it's where so many things happened and this is where I get to tell you this."
"Tell me what Luke?" I look at him as he stares at me, he came closer to me.
"Aria, I know we've been friends for a really long time and I don't want anything to change between us, but I feel like you need to know this." He says letting out a deep breath nervously.
"A few years ago, we were all here chasing each other around and having a picnic. I was standing back most of that day and when I finally joined in on the fun I fell down and you fell down on top of me, our eyes made a connection and it was almost like the whole world froze in that moment. All of a sudden you stood up and you helped me up, we exchange looks and laughed it off. Do you remember that day?" Luke said
"Yeah I do, it's still so fresh in my memory." I say smiling thinking about that moment.
"Anyway it got late and we all had a quick picnic under the stars and as the wind blew I looked at you and in that moment I realized that I am in love with a girl that I can't have."
"Luke." I say smiling at him.
"I know Aria. Michael loves you and the both of you belong together, I had to tell you this. I can't keep it a secret anymore." He says looking down at his feet.
"What happened between me and Michael is in the past, he closed that chapter when he left to go on tour without saying goodbye and broke off all contact with me."
"But you don't understand Ari, he still loves you and-"
"Luke!" I cut him off.
"Stop please, enough about him. That's in the past right now." I say.
My phone started to ring and I answered without looking at the caller I.D
"Hello?"
"Aria?" A voice say on the other end.
"Michael?"
"I miss you so much Aria, what can I do for you to forgive me?"
"You put me through so much pain, you made promises and you didn't keep them. Do you have any idea what I've been through since you left? I had to heal my broken heart and tell myself that I'll be okay."
"I am so sorry Aria, can we please just start over? Can we go back to being friends?" He asks me
I stayed quite for a few minutes.
"Aria?"
"Okay, I forgive you. We can start over and we can be just friends, nothing more."
"Okay, thank you. You won't regret this, I promise." He says and I cringed at the word promise.
"Please no promises, I don't want another broken promise." I say
"No promises, okay got it."
"Okay, bye." I say
"Bye." he says and the line went silent.
As I put my phone away I feel a hand on my arm. I look up and look directly up into Luke's ocean blue eyes, his face came closer to mine and I can feel his lips touch mine. I closed my eyes and leaned in.
Luke kissed me.
