'The stars twinkled in his eyes, and the sun itself warmed his smile.

I knew I might burn.

But I was adamant to inch a little closer.'

Anusha's POV

"You said you are lacking vitamins, but Anusha it 's happening more often. And now you are throwing up too."

"I'm fine, Siddharth, I just need better nutrition that's it. I'll be fine"

"Yeah right," he mumbled sarcastically throwing his bag on the bed and looking at me grumpily.

"I'll go with Radhika, you don't need to take your day off. Besides I have a pretty good idea of what it could be" I told him and mumbled the last part, hoping he doesn't hear it.

"oh, you know nothing. And there is no way I'm letting you go with Radhika."

"There no way I'm going to listen your nonsense anymore, I'm taking you to the doctor" this time moved to pick up his car keys

"Fine!" I sighed more grumpily.

Aggressive jerk!

I don't know what his reaction going to be if my doubts are true.

It's been a week already since I'm back from Ria's home, my dizziness is not ready to leave me any soon.

This whole week Siddharth noticed my weakness and held me while I was losing consciousness in front of him. I was successful in hiding my throwing up episodes from him, but I failed this morning when he was making scrambled eggs for breakfast.

I'm telling you these eggs have something against me!

I just hate them.

Inside the examination room with our family doctor, he was diagnosing my condition asking me about the symptoms.

He made me lie down on the couch and started inspecting my stomach, palpating for any kind of false alarm from my digestive organs.

"I don't think your problem is related to what your husband thinks, " he said while he was done examining my stomach.
I sat up straight, straightening my clothes

"Then...... what is it?" I asked suspiciously trying to hide my blush

He nodded and smiled knowingly that I have a pretty good idea,
"We need to do the ultrasound for that. How long it's been since you last had your menstrual cycle."

My eyes widened.

No way!

This is not what I'm thinking! Is it?

Siddharth! I squealed internally

He made me lie down once again and arranged the ultrasound set up in front of him.

Applied gel on my lower abdomen and started moving the ultrasound head over it. On the other hand, I was trying to calm my breathing, calm the thumping of my heart.

My breath uneven and palms sweating, I held the bedsheets tightly in my fist while staring at the ceiling.

The nurse standing to my right, held my hand and gently squeezed it. I looked at her, she motioned me to look in the opposite direction.
