"How long are you gonna be around?" Toni asks.
"A week."
"Me, too," he smiles. He slides a paper into my hand and runs.
I flip the paper over; it's a cell phone number, accompanied by a cursive signature I can barely make out to be "Antonio Fernández Carriedo/Toni". I slide it into my pocket, breathe, and head for the stairs. It's been a damn long day.
