Time went slower than it usually did for jimin. Maybe because the sat in his room all day, coloring. He wasn't the best drawer, but he did like coloring books. Yea is is a high schooler boy, and yeah that was childish. But Oh well.

Him and jin would usually do it together, but that was unnessecary because jin was coming soon. He would also do it with his little brother, But he was at a friend's house right now.

As he finished the picture of the bird, he held it up to look at the brightening colors. 

Birds were his favorite animal. It might have sounded weird, but he loved the different types. He  also wanted to be a bird since he was a kid, so he could fly around without any worries. 

He decided to clean up his markers and put his coloring book back onto the shelf above his bed. 

He smelled delicious food from the kitchen downstairs, and he immediately followed it. Running down the stairs in his oversized grey sweatshirt. 

Correction, taehyungs grey puma sweatshirt that he may or may not forgotten to return it and is now wearing it not knowing of taehyung will notice. I mean, he didn't notice it when jimin wore it to his house that one time. 

He walked into the natural lighted kitchen, his mom over the stove. She turned around, giving her son a small eye smile. 

"I'm making japchae for you and your friends to have," she turned back around, continuing her work.

"thank you mom, I'm sure they'll appreciate it," jimin went into the living room, sitting on the grey fabric couch. He reached for the TV remote which was on the opposite side of  the couch, only to be interrupted by the door bell. 

He sprung up, a heat flash in his gut from excitement erupting. He's never been this excited to have a couple of friends over in  long time. 

Beaming, jimin opened the door to see a lovely couple holding hands. He of course, let them in. 

Jin automatically floated forwards the kitchen to help jimins mother with the food. That left Jimin and Namjoon standing by the door. Jimin invited him into the living room, trying his best to not be awkward.

"You can sit here," he said, mentally cursing his voice for cracking. Namjoon sat down on jimins couch, jimin sitting next to him.

Although Jimin and Namjoon are friends, they didn't hangout with just the two of them. In fact, they know barley anything about each other.

Jimin was being extremely awkward.

Namjoon noticed this and smiled.

"So, Jin told me that you and him have been friends before middle school," He said, grinning softly at the small boy next to him.

"Yea, I've known him for a long time," Jimin responded, playing with his sweater paws like he usually does when he's nervous. Before he could finish his thoughts, the doorbell rang once more. 

"I'll get it," Jin said after setting something down on the counter. He opened the door,  jimin and Namjoon coming up behind him. The threw boys stood there, all smiling brightly except one.

"jimin, come in here," His mother called from the other room. 

"do you mind if I use the restroom?" He heard taehyung ask. 

As jin gave the directions to the bathroom, jimin went to the kitchen with his mother.

"I'm going out for a bit, my workplace called in for an emergency. I'll be back by 7," Jimins mother kissed jimins cheek and patted his shoulder. "be good," 

She left jimin standing in the kitchen, the smell of delicious food still circling around the room. He smirked, walking into the living room.

"we have the house to our self!"
