Being a couple was hidden, but...
"Daniel, introduce me to your new friends," Mrs. Seavey gestured to Rhyann and I as we took a seat at the dining table.
The order goes, Corbyn, me, Daniel, Anna, and Jonah on one side, Tyler on the end, Jack, Rhyann, Zach, Eben and Zack on the other side while Mrs. Seavey is on the end opposite of Tyler. Daniels Dad couldn't make it.
Mine and Daniels knees touch and I find myself drowning in his eyes again, gasping for breath. "Well, mom, this is my gi- uh friend, this is my friend, Marie. And Zach's girlfriend, Rhyann." he moves his knee and the sudden movement sent a shiver all through my body, goosebumps rising to the surface of my EXTREMELY pale skin.
"You cold, hunny boo boo?" Rhyann looks over at me and I see a concerned look displayed on her face. I shook my head giving her a reassuring smile and my phone started to ring. It was my mom, oh god, she doesn't ever call.
"Excuse me." I answer the call and walk into the dining room.

m} Hey is everything ok?
k} Hey honey, Im afraid not.
m} Uh, what do you mean?
k} I mean Lady died.
~lost connection~
Tears start rushing to my eyes. Oh my god, Lady. Lady is my dog, was* my dog, she was my dog when I was a fetus in my mom's womb, and my dog through 18 laps around the moon. She was my mom, but like, a different species. I start thinking about the times I had with her and the balling starts.
I hear footsteps "Are you o-" it's Daniel, oh god.
I try to say Im fine but he wraps his arms around me and suddenly its like I can't move or well, dont want to move. I just feel, safe.
"to be h-honest, no." I let out a whine.
"Hey hey hey, look at me," I tilt my head up "it'll be ok, Im always gonna be here for you." he wipes the tears from my cheeks and pulls me into a kiss.

She breaks the kiss by saying she's not hungry anymore and wants to wait in the bus. I decide to walk her in there and she hopped into my bunk so I tucked her in and kissed her forehead. "It'll be ok, I'm inside if you need me."
As I walk in Rhyann gives me that look, ya know where you can just tell that they wanna know if someones ok but doesn't use words, yeah, that look. I shake my head. She gets up and walks outside. Zach looks at me, I nod, and he follows Rhyann. My phone dinged and it was Marie instagraming, I like it and find out the reason she's so depressed.

Zach came back in with tears in his eyes and Rhyann was right behind him. We ate and then it was time to go back to the bus.
By the time I got on, Marie was sleeping, in my bunk. I decide to be a gentleman, grab a pillow and a blanket and crash on the couch.
