Untitled Part 2

How I met Inuyasha was a day I will never forget. I was fighting other demons trying to keep both my brother Miroku and I alive. We where surrounded. Miroku was hurt and I was standing near him trying to keep them away from him. I do not know if it was the scent or my brothers voice that brought Inuyasha here.

I got grabbed by a demon and flung away from my brother when a white-haired half demon came and started slaying the demons that were getting close to my brother. "Are you okay Miroku?" Asked the white-haired half demon

"I'm fine." He said still trying to get up

"Stay put Miroku, I don't need you hurting yourself more than you already are."

Miroku does not argue with him. But looks over at me. I start to go my brother's way but got blocked by a demon. I start firing my arrows and fighting my way back over to my brother. When I finally got close to my brother the white-haired demon used his sword and it took all the demons out.

I quickly turn to my brother "Miroku are you alright?" I ask trying to look at his wound

"Let me guess Miroku, you tricked another woman to follow you again?" he says with disgust

"I am his younger sister Priestess Ruki, as much as I could see you thinking that, no he did not trick me." I look over at inuyasha while grabbing some bandages to tend to mMiroku's wounds.

"Ruki, this is the half demon I told you I travel with, Inuyasha."

"Hello Inuyasha." I say not looking at him

"You never said you had any other family." States inuyasha

"My sister and I hardly get to see each other so It's hard to tell her all about my travels."

I finish with tending to Miroku's wound when I see Inuyasha just staring at me, then to my arm "Your bleeding Ruki." He says grabbing a bandage from me and patching up my arm. I guess he doesn't realize that I am half demon to.

Miroku stands up "Ruki, why don't you travel with us."

"I don't know Miroku." I say looking down

"Its better than being on your own Ruki, Join our group." Says Inuyasha looking anywhere but at Ruki

"If inuyasha insists I would take it. He is not always this nice." Says my brother

"Alright, but don't be a womanizer while I am around Miroku or I will beat the crap out of you." I say in a very dominate tone.

Miroku swallows hard and nods but inuyasha laughs "Where have you been, I have never seen Miroku so scared of any woman or anyone. I am going to be one happy guy to have you in our group."

I raise an eyebrow "I am not sure on how to take that Inuyasha," I say kind of blushing.

Inuyasha blushes, turns and walks away.

"Come on Ruki." Says Miroku following Inuyasha. I nod and follow them.

When we go back to where Inuyasha was when he smelt Miroku's blood. There was a fox demon, and a Priestess waiting. The priestess glares at me right off hand.

"Kagome and Shippo this is my half-sister Priestess Ruki."

"Nice to meet you Kagome and Shippo." I say nervously.

"Yeah you too" says Kagome."

Shippo jumps down from Kagome's arms and jumps into Ruki's "Nice to meet you Ruki." He says smiling

I smile at Shippo, "Are you guys sure that its okay that I travel with you all?" I ask again

Inuyasha puts his arm around my shoulders "I told you that we would. So, stop asking." He says with a slight smile, while looking down at me

I smile back, then at everyone, even though Kagome gave me a death glare.

The last 4 months I have been in My brothers group things were strange to me. Kagome was getting worse towards me and Inuyasha was looking at me a lot. I didn't know what was up with Inuyasha, but I was feeling uncomfortable around Kagome the worst. Inuyasha takes my side more than Kagomes and I get the death glare, but I let it slide and still help and protect her.

As we were all walking towards the south Kagome stops "I sense a jewel shard."

"Where?" Asks Inuyasha

"In that village." She says and starts running towards it with Miroku at her heels

Inuyasha and I look at each other and I know I was Blushing, I think I seen a blush on him to but I ran after Kagome and whizzed right past her but I looked over at my brother and smiled. Inuyasha was soon right next to me. Yes, I was able to keep his pace, but that only because I am half dog demon. But the only ones that know that are me and Miroku, I wouldn't be surprised if Inuyasha could smell me, but I have also been using my priestess powers to try and cover up my demon half.

As we were running towards the village, I sneak a look over to Inuyasha hoping no one noticed.

"That Ruki is a weird one." Says Shippo "She is able to stay caught up with Inuyasha for a human."

"I agree Shippo." Says Kagome.
