I could feel the heat now, it was catching us. I looked over my shoulder, before running into Lilly. I turned, a wall of flames. Red flame and black ash raining from the sky, like a beautifully deadly Armageddon. Lilly stood still, her pups hidden behind her, shaking.
"Delia! Delia, where are you?" The call came from behind the wall, it was Grey. Why should I care about him? Why could I do from here.
"You go we will help the pups," I turned quickly, to find Fir, with Magnolia by his side. Lilly turned to Fir.
"Thank you, Fir. Ok pups let go." She picked up Flare. The pup, unlike his siblings, had a deep red coat.
"I would hurry if you want to do something, but that is your choice, your home is south keep going till you reach the coast, you could run it in a day." Fir says before running off with the other two and the pups.
I had to make a choice. Go help Grey or run home.
I looked at the fire one last time before sprinting south. It...was the best choice. Wasn't it?
