Fun Fact ( i guess?)

Today (it's 12 in the morning but it's pretend it's still 9/11) is the 17 year mark since 9/11 happened something you should know is that my WHOLE family is from New York. Not counting the ones in Puerto Rico I guess.

my dad and mom weren't together at the time but they were both in New York.

My dad worked at Rockefeller Center, but to get there he had to pass The World Trade Center. September 11th, he was going to work, but he left the house late. He was on his train and by the time he got to the office, there was already a crash and News Stations were all looking through cameras that were looking at the Twin Towers.

The people at the office were amazed of my dads timing. If he would have came on time, he probably would have be hurt by something falling, or the smoke would have done something to him. In general he could've died.

It's crazy, because on Youtube you can see clips and videos of planes hitting the towers, but the cool thing is that both my parents actually saw the second plane hit, alone with many other New Yorkers. (My 3rd grade New Yorker teacher actually has pictures she took herself right by the rubble of where the Twin Towers used to be after they were hit)

But when I was 5 (still living in New York) I would often visit my dads job, and when his co-workers saw me, They would say "Your the lucky one, right?" And I would be confused. They said "Ya know, if your dad actually heard his alarm, you might not have been born!"

I didn't know if I should take that as a joke, then making fun of my dad or what to be honest.
