Azelia was standing at the balcony. It was a beautiful moonlit night. the moonlight came over her face and illuminated her slim curvaceous figure. It was Indeed a pretty sight. She was tall and had a very fair, pear shaped face. Her almond shaped blue eyes were lined by thin brown eyebrows. Her light brown hair perfectly framed her face and always managed to make her look exactly the way she wanted- sporty or cool or plain sexy.
Right now, they were flying in the gentle breeze. She could have looked very much the part of shakespaere's Juliet waiting for her Romeo, but in real life she was anything but that. She did not believe in the notion of love, for her it was a show of weakness and well, definitely not worth her time.
She took in a deep breath. Today was one of those times she thought about the past. It was all locked up in a secret part of her brain. But sometimes, it really got too much, and it all came flooding back to her. She had learned to live with it, she had got accustomed to taking her own decisions and not having any elder around to control her life.
But times like tonight, she missed her elders. She wanted them and needed someone to be there for her, and her desperation came out as tears. She did not like tears, and felt it was a weakness, and a very despicable habit.

When Daren woke up, he found something wasn't right.
Something was wrong
Very wrong.
He couldn't open his eyes. He had been blindfolded.
It took him a few moments to recollect his situation. He had recieved a mysterious call about some scholarship and he had been invited to the beach for the interview, which was the wierdest ever and definitely not designed for a schoilarship. And then , the punch. Daren winced, just thinking about it.
Then it hit him. He had been kidnapped.
Kidnapped.
But why? He was not rich or influential or anything of that sort. He was a plain old nerd. What could these people possibly want with him??
"Think!" , he said to himself, "You can get out of this mess."
He felt that he was a lying in a warm and an exceptionally comfortable bed. The air smelled rich and plush. She had a suspicion that they were in a hotel or something. Wanting to find more about his place of captivity, he shifted slightly, towards what he thought was the edge of the bed.
"Awake now, are you?", a gruff voice called from the doorway, "About time too."
Daren stiffened, fear impulsively taking over on hearing the voice of his captor.
"Who are you?" he managed to say.
"this is not the time for questions. come now, get up."
Daren made no move. He stayed stiff, accessing the situation.
"You have somewhere to be. Please sit up."
Daren was stunned, maybe it was all the all the movies he swa but he had never expected his kidnapper to say please.
He sat up, out of sheer shock, if nothing else.
He then knew that his first hypothesis about them was correct.
These guys were wierd.

The man then led him through an array of corridors and passages. The floors were thickly carpeted, confirming his suspicion about the hotel part, too. the man was leading him by the hand, because he was still blindfolded. They walked at a comfortable pace, given that Daren had to rely only on his sense of feel and the man's touch to navigate his way through the surroundings.
