I opened my eyes feverishly and saw Kyriun looking at me curiously. "What? I said I'm okay." I stood up and took up the quill in my hands. He stood up and walked towards me with a suspicious frown on his face. "I said I'm okay," I repeated.
"Dearly irritable," he muttered. He reached out and pinched my cheeks. "What is wrong, Rikuseihime Saionji? Tell me. Honestly."
"I want to tell you, okay? But I shouldn't, and I can't. After all, we all have secrets to keep."
"I'm gonna kiss you if you don't tell."
"If that's a lame ass trick from you to sway women, no, I am not falling for it." I set the nib of the pen on the paper and was about to write when he pulled me away and held me close to him.
"You're keeping something from me that's about me, aren't you, Riku?"
"More to the point, let go of me, aho," I grumbled. He was really going for the gold by insisting. Well, sorry, I am seriously not telling. I mean, does he want to hear something like, 'Hey Kyriun-kun, I keep on seeing memories of you in Sebastian Michaelis's clothes standing by me beside a hospital bed or some other things like seeing you cry or hearing you say that you want to have fun wit me until we get old. And everything you say gives me a flash in the head before a playback of what happened in the past. What's that for, huh? I just met you days ago. I don't remember seeing you cry like Natsu.' I mean, who does that? I am not someone who tells off people like that.
"Riku, what is it?"
"Screw it, Kyriun. If I told you, you might get creeped out. You'd think that I have fantasies of you in butler clothes in my head--"
"What? Butler clothes?"
I gave him a smug frown and pulled away. "See? From the mere metion of 'butler clothes', you look like you're lost. I'll tell you, but not now. Not today. Or maybe, never." Whoo! Riku for the win! I just used a quote from Accel World, haha.
He sighed. "Fine. But I won't stop nagging you until you do."
I smiled. "That's good." I wrote 'Bleach' on the scroll, but the sight of the sea and a holler from a strawhat pirate totes confused me.
"LUFFY! Give me your payment! You're the reason why this ramen shop--" an orange-haired girl shouted. She was cut off when Luffy slammed another empty ramen bowl on the table. A strand of a noodle hanged by his lips, which he slurped up quickly. "ANOTHER ONE!" he declared.
I realized that the woman was Nami and watched her pinch Luffy by the ears. "You owe me ten bowls, you idiot!"
Sanji, the blond man with a cigarette that popped out of nowhere, gave him another bowl and smiled. "I'll pay for that. But that should be the last, okay?"
Luffy tapped his hat and grinned. His smile reached up to his ears. "ITADAKIMASUUUU!"
By then, Usop and Chopper had already noticed me. They went up to me and then Usop said, "What's your name? Are you here to join the Strawhat--"
He was cut off by a loud burp and a shout of, "Join? Strawhat? WHERE?!" Clearly the culprit who liked cutting peeps off is Luffy. He stood up from the stool he was sitting on and examined me and Kyriun. "You TWO? Welcome aboard!" he declared.
Miss you-owe-me-ten-bowls-you-idiot namely Nami approached us, followed by Sanji. "I tell you, joining his crew isn't a good idea," she said, pointing at Luffy. "Of all crew, why his?"
"Um... we just ended up here and stuff," Kyriun answered for me. He knew where he was.
We were in One Piece.
Wait, what the-- WHAT?! ONE PIECE?! I wrote Bleach, for the love of Kamisama! Don't tell me tralala anime world also gets glitches in teleportations?
"Ended up here? Out of nowhere? Well that's kind of serious..." Sanji said. He's cool. Really.
Luffy arched an eyebrow comically. That's the difference between him and blondie though. Sanji's lovely, Luffy's loveable. Gets? :))
"Ended up here? How?" he asked.
Kyriun was about to answer when I elbowed him on the side hard. I can't risk him telling them that we're people with flesh from a world that watches animated chracters like them out of the blue. He needs to be less honest sometimes, don't you think? Honesty ruins most situations if not put properly. Now that's something to remember. "Well... how can I put it... I wrote something on a scroll... stuff... ish... thingy intended to take us to some other place but then we ended up here."
"And do you know that I watch One Piece--"
"Kyriun. Shut. Up."
"I'm confused," Nami said. "Watch? One Piece? What's that?"
Kyriun looked happy. "It's the anime where you peeps belo--"
"It's a TV show!" I butted in. "It's his favorite..."
"Well, forgetting that," Luffy declared. "Welcome aboard! Who wants ramen? We must celebrate!"
I am seriously feeling sick. I've rode with the crew to the sea and I'm not happy with it. I puked several times and half-fainted throughout the way. I never thought that I'd have seasickness.
Kyriun? Bastard enjoyed it all the way. Lucky piece of cheese.
I sat on a bench and pondered why the scroll took us to One Piece when I asked for Bleach. Pity. I wanted to meet Toshiro. I heard a few steps from behind me and saw Kyriun walking towards me with a happy, satisfied grin on his face. "Feeling okay now?"
"Kinda."
"Hungry? You vomited every ounce of ramen that we ate."
"No... I'm fine."
"When a girl says 'I'm fine', she really isn't." He gave me a smirk. "Hiding secrets can make you feel sick, you know."
"Seriously, Kyriun."
"Want some food? I brought a slice of pizza with me. Sanji made me take it for you."
"He knew, huh."
"Yeah. He's cool. Luffy's an awesome guy. Nami? Pretty much the typical harsh girl. Usop... no offense but... he reminds me of Pinocchio endlessly and Chopper's really fluffy."
"Fluffy? He doesn't have that much fur."
"Attitude, okay?"
I sighed and took the pizza he offered. I ate quietly and finished without staining myself.
"Can't you at least give me a hint of what you're hiding?"
"No."
"Hearts get broken by words left unspoken."
"Okay, okay." I sighed. "I keep on seeing memories of y--"
I was cut off when the bright light shone on me, producing the scroll. I sighed and wrote something different. It was obvious that the scroll didn't want me to say the secret.
It was obvious, truth be told. What might happen when I tell Kyriun?
If it's gonna glitch, then let it glitch real bad.
