A/n: Um... hello readers of Wattpad. I'm a little nervous writing this since I've only wrote in Fanfiction, I'm still really new to the system, and this is my first Aphorism fanfic, so please be nice! Anyway, this story is based on the manga Aphorism and follows the basic plot, except the main characters are twins instead of the one in the manga. I hope you enjoy the story!
Disclaimer: I do not own Aphorism
Chapter 1: Beginning
Three teenage girls noticed a strange flier advertising a high school that claimed to change their students' status just by graduating. "Hey look at this. Doesn't it look really suspicious?" one of the girls asked as she finished reading the flier
"What do they mean, 'If you can see the floating island, then you're accepted'?" her friend questioned
The third girl just laughed, "Maybe it's a joke! I mean, we've never seen it once, right?"
None of the girls noticed a boy and girl in a completely different uniform walk past them. The two looked back at the girls and then gave each other a smile. They had thought the school was strange as well. And, even though most can't see it, they looked up to watch the surreal-looking island floating above the clouds.
Later, in the Saitama District of Naraka City, the two struggled to get through the train system. The girl was nearly crushed in the cramped train if not for the boy protecting her, and when they arrived to the security checks, the poor girl had no idea what to do. Once safe, the girl slumped over her knees and sighed, "Naraka sure is a big place..." she stated.
"It's certainly different from our home town,” the boy agreed
"We still need to get to school!" the girl exclaimed as she quickly pulled out a map she drew beforehand, "Um... the school should be..." before she could continue, though, a stranger bumped into her and sent her crashing onto the road. "Ow!" she cried out, not noticing her surroundings yet
"Ami!" the boy cried out. The girl looked up in surprise to find a large bus heading right to her.
'I'm going to get hit!' the girl thought in fear
"Watch out!" an unfamiliar voice yelled as a stranger grabbed the girl's hand saved the girl from the bus. The stranger was a boy with short brownish-black hair and chocolate brown eyes. "Are you ok?!" he asked, "Did you get hut?"
"Ah...no." The girl replied
"Ami!" the boy's voice called as he rushed over to the girl
"Kuzu." the girl called back, still a little shocked from the whole experience
The boy first checked over the girl, making sure she was absolutely fine. Once satisfied, he looked over to the girl's savior and said, "Thank you for saving my sister."
"Oh?" the boy asked, "You're siblings? Sorry, I couldn't tell. You guys don't look very alike." he then noticed that both siblings had the same crest as him, "Ah! You have the same school crest! Are you guys first years, too?" he asked excitedly
The girl, finally recovered, replied, "Yes we are. Thank you for saving me by the way. My name is Amida Henka." Amida then bowed to her savior, "This is my twin brother, Kuzusu."
"Nice to meet you." Kuzusu greeted as he offered his hand
"Same here." the boy greeted, “I'm Akira Hirasaka." Akira took a good look at the twins and then suddenly burst into laughter.
Amida, confused, cocked her head to the side and asked, "Hirasaka-san, is something wrong?"
"No, no." Akira assured, "You can just call me Akira, by the way. I just found it funny that you two are twins, but you look like complete opposites." He wasn't wrong. While Amida had light brown hair, innocent hazel eyes, and a short and frail frame, Kuzusu had jet-black hair, piercing dark eyes, and a tall and lean frame and disguised his actual strength. Even their names had opposite meanings. "Anyway, let's all work hard and study, and then become famous people together!" Akira confidently declares
