A collection of various philosophical aphorisms and statements I've been writing down lately.

aphorisms. 1. noun. a pithy observation that contains a general truth, such as, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." 2. title. what I'm calling this "poetry" collection because I write my life, and it holds endless ironic truths. jumbled mess for NaNoWriMo, even though it's not a novel.

This is what I would call an existential Sci-Fi project. The idea is that thoughts or ideas are not contained in the bottles of our skulls, but travel, interreact, and live on forever like a never dispersing energy force. Each part will be where two thoughts have a thought conversation where they don't directly communicate but have relatable content. The idea is to think in every dimension from anywhere including earth and space, but also the non-physical like spiritual and inspiration.

Some very personal thoughts. That is why I am sharing this with you using my pen name: Elon Xavier. The definition of a maxim is a brief statement that contains a little piece of wisdom or a general rule of behavior. The defining characteristic of a maxim is that it's pithy - that is, it packs a lot of meaning into just a few words. Maxims are very nearly the same as aphorisms. The only difference is that maxims are often more straightforward. Whereas aphorisms tend to use metaphors, maxims may or may not do this.

Enlightenments is a modern counterpart to Marcus Aurelius' Meditations. Where Aurelius searched for order, this book confronts collapse and finds meaning in paradox. Each aphorism wrestles with entropy, death, love, time, society, and the self, cutting through illusion with ruthless honesty. Like Meditations, it is personal yet universal, a private dialogue that echoes outward. But instead of calm reflection, it speaks from within the storm, showing that truth is brutal, rebirth is rupture, and paradox is the only language of reality.

"Proverbs of the Wise," and its content, it clearly falls into the category of didactic poetry. often conveying a moral lesson or imparting knowledge. This poem directly fits this description, providing maxims and observations about wisdom, folly, and the choices one makes in life. The use of proverbs and aphorisms further reinforces its didactic nature.
