Chloe's POV:

Why is she spending so much time talking to me? I know, I shouldn't complain because I never get this amount of attention when people come here to adopt, but I can't help but feel like she would want a child that wouldn't bring her down or be an embarrassment to her. She is Demi Lovato after all. She kept looking at me, as if she knew me but she didn't. It was a look of confusion yet she seemed concerned. I guess I should try to enjoy this while it lasts because she isn't interested in adopting me. She just feels sorry for me. Nobody wants to adopt someone like me.

Demi has been asking me a lot of questions in the last ten minutes. She briefly looked down at her note that help information of my life. As if something hit her on the head, she looks up really fast.

"You're Chloe from Dance Moms?" she questions, although it obviously states in my notes.

"Um, yeah" I wrote on my paper. Why does everyone always act shocked over this? It's not like I'm a celebrity or anything, I just did what I love. Dance.

We continued to talk, well she spoke, I wrote, and I realized we had more in common than I thought. She took dance as a child. We were both bullied. We both had our own TV shows. We both like to act. The list just goes on. Then the weirdest thing happened...

"Chloe. How would you feel if I said I was going to adopt you?"

Me? She wants to adopt ME? This must be some sort of prank, is Ashton hiding in my closet?

"Really, me?" I wrote, she must me kidding.

"Yes, you. Are you ok with this?" she asks. Of course I am ok with this. This is the best thing to happen in my life in so long! I nod my head yes as a reply and hug her, the tears starting to flow from my eyes.

"Lets get your bags packed and then I will finalize everything with Mrs. Smith ok?" again, I nod my head yes.

I walked over to my bed and grabbed my suitcase from under it before following Demi over to my closet. She helped me pack all of my clothes and shoes neatly into my medium sized suitcase. There is a draw at the bottom of my closet that I keep my dance wear in. I only have a few crop tops, booty shorts and leotards in there along with my tan and black jazz shoes, tap shoes and pointe shoes. I pack all of these into a bag along with my make up, flat and curling irons and toiletries. Finally I pick up my last small bag and put in my personal belongings that include a family photo album, dance DVD's, my sisters favourite teddy bear and my phone charger. I look over at Demi and she signals for me to follow her down the stairs. I go to pick up my suitcase when Demi stops me and tells me to just take my to bags. I smile at her slightly before walking down the stairs and towards Mrs. Smiths office. I wait for Demi and we walk in together.

A short chapter but the next one will be longer and in Demi's POV. If you haven't noticed, the chapters go back and fore. I don't know if I will keep it that way so let me know if you like it like this or if I should write just from one persons POV.

Thanks
