Nathen pov.

I put on my jacket as Coco and I walked to the cafeteria which I saw wasn't too crowded. I smiled at her as we parted ways. I went to a lone table and pulled out my scroll and saw a message from Evie. I opened my scroll to see it saying call us. I raised my eyebrow and dailed her number and started waiting. "Hey Nathen." Evie said with relief.

"Hey what's up sis?" I ask seeing someone walk towards me but didn't really pay attention to it.

"It's about one of our contacts here in Vale." She said as I listened. "She wants to meet all 4 of us."

"When?" I asked as I saw the figure right at the table now but to focused on the call to care.

"Sometime after midday." Evie said as I nodded.

"We're not interfering with your classes right?" I heard my brother Jacob say in the background with a laugh.

"You won't be. I was planning on ditching half of them to go templar hunting." I laugh as the figure sat down. I looked over and saw that it was Yang with a look in her eyes. I focused back on the call.

"Good man. Now the person is around your age so don't break her heart to much alright?" Jacob said alot more clearly possibility talking directly into the scroll.

"So I'm am correct in assuming Henry will be joining us?" I asked as Yang started to get a bit irritated. I brushed it off.

"Yes greenie will be joining us. I think Evie is very happy about that." I heard a loud hit followed by. "What was that for?" I laughed at this as he got yelled at.

"I have to go eat." I say partly true since I still had a box of strawberries and whip cream to eat. "I'll wait for your call." I say before hanging up and my face going neutral as I look at Yang. "Yes?" I asked as I grabbed a strawberry prepared to eat it.

"We want you to come back home." She said forward. I roll my eyes. "Look we want to apo-" the sound of whip cream being sprayed interrupted her as I put a bit on my strawberry. "Apologize." She finished with a sigh of annoyance.

"Yeah no." I say as put the fruit in my mouth. She got a bit angry which made me happy inside.

"Please Zewi misses you." She said with a hint of anger in her voice. I shake my head in disbelief.

"You're using the dog to try and get me to come home?" I sighed not even trying to hide how I felt. "If you're so keen to get me back then how about a deal huh?" I say letting the offer hang in the air for a few seconds. "Later today we both Glyndas combat class. We fight in it. If you win I'll forgive you and come to the house. But if I win you drop this forgiveness crap and actually do something meaningful to make it up to me." I say putting my hands on my chin and looked at her as she thought this over. "I'll know your answer when we're in the class." She then got up and walked to her team who seemed to be giving Yang and Ruby a bit of distance. I smiled at this. Finally getting a bit of justice from what they caused. I didn't realize that more people were at my table now until I heard someone clear their throat. I turned my head to see 4 people who I haven't met yet. The 1st was a boy with blonde hair and armor. The 2nd was the famous pyrrha nikos. The 3rd was a girl with orange hair that had a stack of pancakes in front of her while she stared at my strawberries and whip cream. The 4th was a boy with black hair and a pink streak in it. "Oh hi." I say kindly as they stared at me. The girl with orange hair spoke first.

"Can I have some strawberries and whip cream please?" She asked as the boy with black hair was about to lecture.

"Sure take as many strawberries as you want. Just try not to use to much whip cream." I say sliding them to her. She got weird heart eyes for a second before taking a handful of strawberries and dropping them on top before spraying what I had to assume was half the can of whip cream on top.
