Riku walked to the station with me after school.  He is one of the few friends I have actually.

[Thaz him]

"This sports festival sounds like a drag" he sighed. I hmmed looking up at the sky not really listening. "Our school trains us in underground work. Why would they accept this? Our faces will be shown to everyone?" I've wondered this myself too.

"Well our school is allowed to wear masks. So our faces aren't totally shown. Then we will also get different names...I guess we're in it because of recognition? I personally don't care for it but I think our principal has been pushed over because no one realizes just how many heroes our school has produced.  TRUE heroes that is."

He glanced over at me "there you go again. I know you won't accept payment when you graduate as a pro hero but not all of us are rich." Raising my brow I look back at him "I feel like I've told you before. I'm far from rich." "Then how do you expect to feed yourself?" Pointing a finger in the air I say with confidence "Clark Kent."

"Who?" "Your useless. Look we're here now go to your train before it takes off!" He sighs and walks towards it looking back and holding out his hand "till we meet again." "Leave loser" he laughs and goes.

Now how much longer till my train arrives?

"Hey!" Jumping up I turn around and see the guy from earlier. "Kirishima?" "You remembered!" "Mmmm you helped me up after all" I walked towards him and he was smiling. "Black uniform yep so you are going to be participating at this years sports festival too?"

Oh shizz how does he know? First thing we learn is to keep our identity as heroes secret. Well I'm gonna have my face hidden so he won't even know I'm there.

"Sports festival? Do you mean the U.A sports festival!!! Oh wow thanks for thinking I will be but sorry I'm not one of the lucky one's participating " I smile. He looks at me suprised and holds up his hands "oh I'm sorry really! I just assumed because of your school uniform and the way we met this morning. I heard your school was participating this year. See I attend U.A." He points to his uniform proudly and my eyes widen. How did I not notice??

His spiky red hair probably took my attention off of his uniform.  "Wow that's awesome and yeah my school is but Im not in the class that is participating. Sorry about the morning again". He smiled shrugging,"it's cool. It was almost like you dropped down from Heaven or something."

"What a cheesy line..." I trailed off. He chuckled when suddenly we heard a woman scream "Thief! "

Our heads snap up and suddenly Kirishima runs and tackles the man running with the womans purse. Station police thank him and take over and the woman walks up to him retrieving her purse. Wow he acted pretty fast there. I see the woman and him arguing over something and I walk closer, "please let me give you some cash as a reward." "No please it wouldn't be very manly of me to take it" with that he turns and walks straight into me.

I start to fall and he quickly catches me leaving us in that iconic pose where the female is looking up at the male and he has one arm holding her from falling back.

"Thanks" "no problem" we stay looking at each other for a few more seconds before I come to my senses and cough straightening up. We fix ourselves and stand there not making eye contact.

"You didnt take the money" I state. He smiles posing proudly "of course not what kind of man would I be if I did?" There's a tightening feeling in my chest. "I like the type of man you are right now" I say without thinking about my choice of words.

"You like me" his eyes widen. I feel my face start to heat up "I didn't I-" he scratched the back of his neck "I'm sorry I can't accept. Manly as I may be I still don't know your name and we just met. Let's be friends mmm?" He held out his hand and I smiled "I would like that" I shake his hand and look up to see his face slightly red. Maybe I'm just seeing things?

"Oh my names Jade nice to meet you"
