My Red Boi ( Kirishima X OC )

ch.7

It took a lot of effort for me to drag myself out of bed this morning and head to the training grounds to meet up with Riku.

The events of last night were weighing me down and the promise of a good workout to clear my mind was the only thing motivating me to get up.

Sighing I looked up at the sky as I walked to the grounds. I still had a slight headache from my encounter with that U.A. teacher. Eraserhead. What's his deal? And Kiri...I should just leave him be and focus on the festival. I need a breather anyways.

"You look like hell" Riku was waiting for me at the entrance. "Good morning to you too" I smirk and toss him the apple I brought. I'm certain he didn't eat. I've known him for years now so I know his habits. Catching it he chuckles "are you sure your not psychic?"

"If only" we enter and head towards the arena stage. If we fight like this in the festival then it makes sense to practice like this. "So about yesterday-" "stop. I would rather not deal with all of that" he shrugged and faced me. We were in work out clothes since both of our quirks weren't anything that messed with fabric. "You know usually people would be more pumped up fighting me" I smirk. He sighs rolling his eyes "that's because they rarely have the chance too. Plus everyone that has fought you so far has lost so of course they would be pumped to beat you. I on the other hand have the misfortune of sparring with you all the time and never winning so yeah pretty not pumped." 

I laugh and summon out Jazzy into my hand. My quirk exorcist allows me to pull out different ninja tools from inside me each with a different ability. Once I hit the target it disappears and I have to wait 30 seconds to pull the same one out again. Jazzy so happens to be a kunai with the ability to nullify any quirk for 1 minute. 

"Don't worry this will be fast I promise" he shivers and takes a starting stance. Thanks to me Riku's martial arts has gotten better so I do have to look out for that.

"Let's begin"

"Ugh lost again" Riku sighed on the floor. I laughed and helped him up "you were close to winning that last match though". He rolled his eyes and started gathering our stuff "yeah because my quirk came back but you still beat me".

"I'm just used to fighting against your berserker quirk. Anyone else would have lost" I said cheerfully and followed him out the gates. "Whatever. I need to shower and then help out at the store. I'll text you later" he waved leaving me.

Riku's family owns a mini mart that he helps out at. I've helped out a couple of times too. Oh well might as well go home.

"So you attend this school" huh? I turn to my right and standing there is Eraser Head. He's sipping on a cup of coffee and gazing at our training grounds. "Are you following me?" I frown already feeling a slight headache coming on. "No just passing by" he shrugged. We stood there in silence unsure what happens next.

I studied his face trying to get a feel of why I get a headache every  time I see him. But he seemed normal? He too looked me over in a curious manner "hey...who are your parents?" I stepped back "why?" He sighed rubbing his head "just...never mind" he started leaving when I grabbed his sleeve. 

"Why do I get headaches every time I see you?" confronting him like this might not be the best idea but I'm getting desperate for answers. "I don't know kid...look it was a bad idea talking to you. You're making me just as confused" his face grew tired and he took his sleeve out of my grip. "You're making me confused as well..." we stared at each other for awhile before I sighed fixing my bag. "I have a dad. Well he raised me. I don't know where my birth parents are. So I can't really answer your question. Also yeah this I attend this school" I looked away "I don't really know why I'm telling you this stuff. Something about you I guess."

He looked like he was analyzing me so I cleared my throat and turned away, "anyways see yah".

I don't know why but I kinda hope I run into him again. Despite the headaches.
