"S-Seth? What're you doing here?" I was still in shock seeing him standing at my doorway.
"H-Hey, I know this might come as a shock" He began, but I cut him off abruptly.
"A shock?! The last thing you told me was you wouldn't be home till November!"
"I got three days off, and so I flew here, wanting to know if you'd want to fly back with me to Japan for two weeks." He offered.
My eyes popped out of my head. "Japan?!"
"I-I know it's last minute,"
"Last minute?! Hell yeah it is!" I scoffed. "Seth as much as I'd like too, I have my kids to think about. Plus I'm going to Chicago to see everyone."
"RAW isn't for another five days. Come to Japan for three. Pleaseeeeeeeeeee?!" He begged.
"I-I don't know.." I sighed. I can't believe I was actually thinking about doing this.
"I promise you and the kids will have so much fun! We can eat sushi, I'll show you around, you can see me wrestle..." He whined.
Against my better judgement, I said yes. Seth revealed he had already bought my ticket.
I texted Maddy telling her the change of plans, but I'd see her on Sunday. When we arrived at the airport, we headed to Southwest Airlines.
I was shocked when we sat in first class. I mean, I knew Seth could afford it, but still.
He held Ethan while I cuddled with Hope. I wrapped a blanket around her as I fed her.
When the plane took off, we both had them drink their bottles to help their ears pop.
"Have you ever been to Japan before?" Seth wondered.
"You've gotta be joking..hell no." I laughed. Hope snuggled in my neck and began falling asleep. I patted her back gently, smiling as I did so.
"Your gonna love it! It's absolutely breathtaking! Except the smog sort of ruins it, but we stay away from those areas." Seth began babbling about his new home.
"I still find it insane you live there." I shook my head in amazement. "But I'm assuming you love it?"
"I do..it's nice to have some change in my life. I needed this, after everything, ya know?" He sighed.
"Yeah..I get it, you found your passion again. And it makes you very happy." I grinned, seeing Seth so giddy. "I just wish I would find mine."
"Have you thought about going back to WWE?" Seth questioned.
"Honestly, no." I revealed. "I mean, I miss my friends, but I want to start branching out and do my own thing."
"I understand that completely." Seth nodded. "And you will, Harper. Who knows, maybe Japan will give you some ideas.."
"Maybe.."
-After the longest flight of my life, two screaming babies gathered everyone's attention as we walked through the airport.
We grabbed a taxi and headed to his apartment. Tokyo was beautiful.
The sun was out, people were walking everywhere, Sure the traffic was bad, but it was totally worth it.
Seth gave us a tour of his apartment when we arrived, it was a decent size. Kitchen, two bedrooms, a bathroom. And then a small area with a couch.
"I figure we can just order in tonight and then tomorrow we can have some fun?" Seth asked, helping me carry my bags in my room.
"Yeah, that sounds great. I need to get these kids to bed." I sighed, as Ethan and Hope were still bawling.
