Dylan's P.O.V.
Police are running into the hallway and Dustin and I's 5 seconds of glory are over.
"Who has the gun?" One of the men shouts. Everyone in my group exchanges curious glances. I see officers giving us wary glances and I almost smirk.
"Them." I hear Laceys annoying voice say. I look over and shes pointing at us.
I walk out in front of the group and the officers stare. I raise an eyebrow in response. I look back at my group to confirm none of them have a gun, and then look back at the cops.
"Alright then. Search us." I say thrusting them my bag and holding my arms up.
Everyone else follows my example and the cops are shocked.
"See. We dont have guns." I say. "Sorry we wasted your time." The cops return our belongings. As soon as they're gone, I have my eyes on Lacey.
Dustin tries to get there first, but I stop him.
"Please let me do this one." I say with a mischeivious look. He returns it and nods.
I walk up to Lacey and smile, to which she returns a fake one. I stop smiling and glare, just before I grab her shirt collar and slam her against a locker.
She looks shocked to say the least. I push her hard and she winces.
I lean in to her ear and say "Never. Ever. Even think about getting in our way again." I let her go and leave.

The rest of the day went smoothly. I got in a minor fight with Fallon at lunch, but it was stupid. Who takes bites out of string cheese!
Anyways I was at home, sitting on my porch swing brainstorming ideas to ruin dad.
I took out my ukelele and started plucking randomly. Then I decided to play one of my favorite songs. Riptide by Vance Joy.
I was playing and really kind of enjoying myself when Xavier came over and sat on the ground across from me. I ignored it and kept playing because who interrupts Vance Joy?
Once I'm done I put the instrument down and look at him. He is intensely studying me so I turn away.
"I was just brainstorming." I said firmly for absolutely no reason at all.
"That was beautiful." He says, directing his gaze twords my eyes so our eyes meet.
I can feel a burning blush rising in my cheeks but I quickly stop it.
"Its raining." I said, just realizing the hard rain that was outside.
He nodded and hummed in agreement to my observation.
"We should go inside." I said while standing up.
"Probably" he said, doing the same.
He turns away to walk down the stairs.
"You could stay at my house, you know. Just until it stops." I say, which he answers with his boyish smirk. I just chuckle at the smirk, because he thinks hes going to get something out of me.
I walk inside and up the stairs to my room, and he follows me like a little puppy.
I walk into my room and put the ukelele away and I notice that Xaviers shut the door.
I raise a single eyebrow at him and go to walk out of my room, but I'm and pushed against my door.
I've never realized how tall he is, or how short I am for that matter, until now. His 6'6" self towering over my tiny 5' stature.
