*Author's note: This short story is one I wrote out of boredom. I asked a friend for a prompt and she said "Naked nuggets dancing in the rain". It was mostly a joke, but I committed to it, so it's going to be pretty cringy. Cause it's a joke story. She's been waiting for me to finish this for 3 years. This is for her.*
Chocolate Nugget looked up at the sky as the rain began to fall. "Dammit. Now what am I going to do? I forgot an umbrella." All of her friends had already gone home from school, so she couldn't ask anyone. The only one left at school was Spicy Nugget-Senpai. And she could never ask him. It would be too strange. He didn't know her! She just stood there, staring out into the rain, preparing herself to walk out into the wetness. Spicy Nugget looked down from the classroom he was inside of, to the awning where Chocolate Nugget was preparing herself to take the plunge into the rain. His eyebrow twitched as he debated letting her borrow his umbrella. Then he realized something. He'd forgotten his umbrella. "Shit! How am I supposed to get home!? Well, I might be alright, but that nugget over there is going to catch a cold if she goes out in the rain." He shook himself out of his stupor and ran down the stairs to catch the nugget before she tried to leave. "Wait!" He yelled after her, too late. "Damn." Without a second thought, he ran after her. Chocolate Nugget heard a voice yell after her as she ran through the rain and she mindlessly stopped. She saw Spicy Nugget run up to her. "Hey! You shouldn't be out in this weather! How far do you have to walk to get home?" He asked. "U-um... about twenty miles..." She answered timidly. "Twenty miles! That's too far! Come back to the school, you'll catch a cold out here!" He said worriedly. He grabbed her arm and began pulling her back to the school. Not really knowing what to do, she followed him back. As they arrived back at the school, a sneeze escaped Chocolate's body. Spicy looked at her, concerned. "See. I knew you'd catch a cold." Chocolate smiled wanly. "I'm fine. It's just a single sneeze." Spicy pulled a jacket out of his bag. "Here. You look cold." Chocolate pulled the jacket around her, feeling cozy in the warmth. "Thank you." They sat in silence for a moment, not quite sure what to say. Chocolate Nugget decided it was now or never to confess her love for her senpai. "S-senpai? I would like to ask you something." Spicy looked over at her, his crispy and spicy face expressionless. "Yes?" Chocolate blushed profusely. "Do you have a girlfriend?" Spicy looked confused, but shook his head no. "Would... you like to?" Spicy realized what she meant. She wanted to date him. He'd only known her for a bit, but little did she know, as she'd been admiring him, he had been admiring her from afar. "Sure." Chocolate's blush got deeper when she realized what he'd said. "R-really?! You want to date me?" Spicy smiled at her. "Of course. You're so pretty and nice." They kissed a really deep and passionate kiss and went out to play in the rain. They were in their birthday suits as they did it cause nuggets don't wear clothes. And so they were soggy.
