Taehyung

"A little harder, Tae." You let out as you tried wiping the sweat off your forehead.

"I'm trying!" He let out in a breathy grunt. You could see the sweat forming along his face.

You sighed as your boyfriend Taehyung was pushing the couch as you tried pulling it from the other side. You guys were redecorating the house a bit for the springtime.

"I don't get why you wanna get rid of the carpet now. Why can't we hire someone to do it for us?" Tae stopped pushing the couch and leaned against it while he questioned you.

You gave up on pulling it and slouched yourself in the cushions. You left space for him to sit next to you as your legs rested on his lap.

"I'd rather we do it, that way it feels more, I don't know, "homey" I guess you could say." You had shrugged. Something about building up your home made you feel good about it. As if the hardwork makes it more meaningful.

"Plus, I'm not paying almost $600 for someone to put hardwood floor when we could easily do it for only half of that amount."

Tae only rolled his eyes as he adjusted himself to lay on your chest, his torso between your legs. You played with his hair as you both just looked around the misplaced room.

There was so much you had planned on throwing into storage, so the box pile was quite big with most of them scattered about.

You were lost into thought until Tae's voice interrupted your thinking.

"I know it's only been about 3 years for us, but have you thought about us having kids?" He looked up from your chest as he stared into your eyes.

Your face flushed with warmth as your eyes met with his. A family of your own?

Eventually you'd feel ready enough for kids but you often thought about how you just managed to take off in your career. Having steady hours and pretty good pay. Plus you were only 23, still young both in age and at heart.

Wouldn't having kids now ruin it?

As if Tae could hear your thoughts, he chuckled as he gave your hand a small kiss, bringing you back from your thinking.

"I don't mean right this second. I just thought for our future maybe in a few years."

You could admit that you saw a glint of sadness in his eyes as he realized you were a bit hesitant about a family still. You wanted nothing more but a family with him but right now just wasn't the time for you.

"Tae, lets go out tomorrow." You suggested as you looked down at him.

"We deserve a break from house cleaning."

"Yeah I'd like that." He crept up closer to you until his face was in front of yours, giving you a kiss.

He tried going in for a deeper kiss as he moved his hand down your thigh but you quickly grabbed hold of it.

"Gotta help me move this couch first." You teased as you slid off from under him and the couch.

He only plopped on the couch face first and groaned.

"Where exactly are we going?" Tae questioned as you drove down the highway.

"Patience love. You'll see when we get there."

He groaned and slumped in the seat, a pout on his lips.

You drove for a bit more until you drove into the parking lot. As you put the car in park, you turned to see Taehyung asleep with his head leaned against the window. His mouth was wide open and drool was starting to sneak out.

An evil idea came into your head as you slowly rolled the window down, his cheek sliding down with it. Then did it again as you rolled the window back up. You took out your phone and took pictures.

"hehehehe..." you giggled as you looked back on the photos.

Taehyung woke up, a bit of drool slipping out the corner of his mouth. He looked at you confused as he rubbed his right cheek and drool.

"What's so funny?" He tried peeking at my phone.

"Nothing!" As you opened the car door and walked out.

You walked to his side of the car and opened the door. As he stepped out you told him to shut his eyes and follow you. He held your hand as you guided him towards his surprise.

You opened the door and led him inside.

"Uh (Y/n) it smells...weird in here." Tae looked confused as he scrunched his nose a little.

"Okay okay... you can open your eyes."

As he opened them, he saw you had brought him to the pet adoption center. He looked around in awe as his eyes finally landed on you.

"I know you said you wanted babies but maybe we could test it out by adopting fur babies first?"

Tae gave you a giant hug and ran towards the puppy pen.

"(Y/n)! How about him?" He sat in the middle of the pen as the puppies all gathered around him, trying to climb up his legs.

Be picked up different pups as he watched other people play with the puppies.

You guys finally picked this white and brown spotted puppy. He had darker brown spots near his face with light colored ears.

The drive back home was about the same but with Tae cuddling the puppy wrapped in a fluffy blanket. They were both asleep, light snores coming from the both of them.

"I love you Taehyung..." you chuckled as you continued driving back home.
