Honk! Hoooooonk! I hear Louis' horn sound. Someone is eager to get to school this morning.
"See you later mum!" I shout as I slip my sneakers on and grab my bag.
"Have a great first day love!" She yells back from he kitchen.
I walk out the door and half jog to Louis' car.
"What's up mate?! First day of school! ARE YOU READY?!?!" Louis always has so much energy, I really don't understand where it all comes from. It's only 7:30 and he's yelling and has the cheekiest smile.
"Holy hell Lou, you think you put enough sugar in your tea this morning?" I say as I slam the door shut. He begins driving and yapping away.
"I'm just so excited, I think this is the year I'm finally gunna get El to go out with me!" He gushes. He has had the biggest crush on Eleanor Calder ever since I can remember. I'm pretty sure she likes him too considering she stares at him constantly when he isn't looking, I think he's the only one who hasn't noticed it yet.
For the rest of the drive he tells me his plan to get El to fall in love with him. I can't help but smile, I really hope it works out, it'd make him happy and hopefully get him to quit blabbing about her all the time. As we pull in to the school I can see Zayn and Perrie snogging, how delightful, Liam and Danielle holding hands while laughing at Niall being absolutely ridiculous. I laugh to myself as I take in the sight of my friends, we have all gone through high school together, their like my second family. Me and Louis have been friends since primary school though, he's been through everything with me. We used to hang out everyday, sleep overs and all that. There was also a girl that we used to hang out with, Riley, there are tons of pictures of the three of us goofing around. Riley was the closest I had to a sister when I was younger, but she moved when we were 7. We didn't really keep in contact so I haven't a clue how she is now but I think she'd fit in perfectly with my insane friends now.
"HAZ!!!" Niall shouts as he jumps on me, almost taking me down in his surprise attack.
"Easy Niall!" I yell as I take a few steps with him hanging on my shoulder.
"Ready for a new year of hot girls and crazy parties?!?!" He yells as he jumps off of my back. This kid had to be one of the funniest guys I had ever met. He moved here from Ireland about 2 and a half years ago, when we met I thought he was obnoxious but now I don't know what I'd do without him. Everyone is laughing and shaking their heads at his statement.
"How about trying to actually do well on school work." El says as she walks towards the group. Louis' eyes fly to her and the widest smile I've ever seen appears on his face. I laugh and start walking up the front stairs and into the school as everyone else trails behind.
I walk into first hour with Niall, we have a couple classes together which I haven't decided is good or bad yet. We talk a bit before the bell rings, well Niall talks and I listen. As the bell rings and the teacher begins taking attendance someone walks into the room. Everyone turns to the door to look at who is there. My eyes meet a gorgeous blonde girl, her hair is long and wavy and her fringe is slightly covering her right eye. She's a bit taller than most girls but not freakishly tall. I get this feeling that I have seen this girl before when the teacher says
"You must be Riley." She smiles and nods and my eyes widen a little. No way, Riley? She turns a little to face the class, looking for a seat I'm sure, when our eyes meet. I can see the surprise on her face when she sees me, and the surprise quickly turns to joy. The smile on her face will forever be etched into my brain. Holy hell is this what love at first sight is?
