A Single Tear

Killian POV.

As I listened to Kaydence tell me what happened, I could hear in her voice that she was scared. I went to go ask her something but she just continued and said

"As everything went black all I could think of was why am I so stupid, but then I saw a light a small light that just grew. Until I could see everything but I was in a room with a screen. I looked around and I had no clue where I was. There was no doors or windows, I was trapped. I started looking for a way out when I heard something I turned around and it was the screen. It was playing a video... A video of Paris and I. We where playing a game and she said she had to go home. The video kept playing recording Paris walking home when someone wearing all black walked up behind her, a-and took out a pocket knife and stabbed her in the leg. As I watched the video a single tear rolled down my face the video stopped, and then started playing again except she was in a house and she was tied up with a blood stain on her pants. I watched the video in fear of what happened and where the video came from.

I didn't want to watch anymore of it so I looked away and curled up into a ball on the floor. I then heard a voice saying if you don't watch I will do the same thing to one of your friends. I was scared and I didn't want to lose anymore people I care about and kept watching. Paris was tied up and the person dressed in black walked in to the room she was in. They looked at her and stabbed her in the chest then the arm. I cried watching my best friends death and wanted to stop watching but I couldn't. Before the person wearing all black left he took out a gun and shot her in the stomach. All I could hear was screaming from the video as I watched her die it was horrible. All I could see was blood coming from everywhere on her, covering the ground around her. The video ended and something went over my head I couldn't breath, but I heard someone say This was all your fault
then everything went pitch black and I was in the creak."

I looked at Kaydence and saw a single tear run down her face she wiped it away and stood up and said

"I have to go home now"

I looked at her then stood up she waved but instead of waving back I went over to her and hugged her and said

"I'm so sorry, I should have been there with you."

She looked at me and said

"Its not your fault"

then walked away. No one should have went through what she did.

April POV.

Mary and I sat down beside the tree near our school expecting Killian to come back, but he never did so we went home. I walked Mary partly home cause she lived near my house, but I couldn't get over the fact that I didn't go after Kaydence. Killian gave a very angry/disappointed look when I didn't go after Kaydence. At that point I new I screwed up and that I need to fix things. I also wondered if Kaydence told Killian, she probably did. She probably didn't tell me because I walked up to her and was being a little bossy. Killian is nice and he probably asked her in a calm way unlike me. The next day I woke up getting ready for school, but then realizing it was Saturday.

"Great"

I said to myself. Everything was falling apart and I really wanted to know what happened to Kaydence.
