A Sleepover

Kaydence POV.

As I sat in class in the corner of the class room all I could think of was, I shouldn't have just walked away from April maybe what she was saying was true. I thought to myself again

"No that's crazy".

I sat in my seat starring at the wall for 20 minutes, then the bell rang school was over. As I walked out of the school I thought maybe I should talk to April instead of just walking away. I looked for her outside of the school but, I couldn't find her. I then called her, she picked up and asked

"Hey what's up?"

I then asked her

"What are you doing tonight (it was Friday)?"

She replied

"Nothing I'm free, do you want to sleep over?"

I told her I would asked my mom, and then call her back. When I got home I asked my mom if I could sleep over at Aprils, and she said yes like always. I grabbed a couple things and texted April

"I can come, see you soon😉💖!"

My mom drove me over to Aprils and when I got there I put my stuff in her room.

I sat in the living room waiting for April cause she went to the bathroom. When she got out she suggested that we go to the park. We left to go to the park and brought cookies with us. At the park we just sat on the swings talking about school and stuff, while eating the cookies. We both completely avoided talking about Killian. It was about 7pm when we got back to her house and dinner was ready, when we walked in. While we ate we watched the movie "The Conjuring." When the movie finished, her parents told us we had to go to bed. I helped April set up my bed on the floor, and when she finished she flopped on her bed. I laughed and said

"Night and we both lied down."

An hour passed and we both were still awake, I then whispered

"Hey what actually happened today?"

She turned around facing me and whispered back

"I swear on my life what I told you was true, I wasn't lying. Next time he acts like he did today, we can both follow him and then you will have your proof."

I looked at her and said

"Okay I will come with you next time."

She looked at me and smiled the said

"Okay, now lets get some sleep so were not zombies in the morning."

I looked at her and then stuttered saying

"Im really sorry April but, I'm in love with Killian."

She looked at me and smirked and said I knew you did you are bad at hiding it and once again said

"Okay, now lets get some sleep so were not zombies in the morning."

I laughed and said

"Sure night."

April fell asleep immediately I couldn't stop thinking about how chill she was about me loving Killian. I fell asleep 5 minutes later after she did. In the morning I woke up to a loud bang I jumped up immediately and then realized I was in Killian's room. I was really confused, but before I could think of anything, I heard the noise again. I ran down stairs to see what it was, the noise was coming from the kitchen. When I grabbed the door handle and started to turn it, my hand slipped off. I pulled my arm away fast realizing there was blood on my hand.

I ignored the blood and opened the door finding a pile of my friends corpses. Blood was everywhere, my scream was silent. I then turned around and saw Killian covered in blood and then looked down and realized he was holding a butcher knife completely covered in blood. He looked at me and said

"You killed her."

He went to stab me but something loud rang in my ear, I immediately jumped to my feet realizing I was in Aprils room and Killian was gone. I looked to the side and saw April sitting up on her bed starring at me. She then asked

"What just happed"

and burst out in to laughter. I pinched myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming and I wasn't. I then thought to myself why do I keep having dreams like that. My phone rang again and April looked at me and said

"Are you going to just let it ring or are you going to check who it is?"

I laughed and said "I'll check it."

I picked up my phone startled to see that it was Killian calling me. I looked at April and asked

"Should I answer it?"

She looked at me and said

"Sure why not, see what he wants."

I nodded my head and then answered the phone. When I answered I said

"Hey Killian, what's up?"

He replied

"What are you doing today?"

I told him

"I'm at Aprils, why?"

He then said

"Oh I'm in the area, do you guys want to hang out?"

I looked at April and then she took my phone and said

"Sure, where and what time?"

Aprils POV.

I snatched Kaydence's phone out of her hand and said to Killian

"Sure, where and what time?"

I then thought to myself "maybe something weird will happen and I can prove it to her that I'm not lying."

he then said

"Across the street from our school, at 9:00am."

I told him

"Sure, we will see you soon."

I then hung up and Kaydence and I laughed and I said

"Come on lets get ready."

It was 8:00am so we had 40 minutes to get ready, and then 20 minutes to walk. When we were ready we left and stopped at Tim Hortons along the way. Once we got there Killian was on top of the monkey bars waiting. We said

"Hey"

and he replied the same back. We brought him a donut, and we just chilled and talked for an hour. As we were talking I got a call from my mom, apparently I was supposed to go shopping for her. I don't remember agreeing to that but, whatever. Killian and Kaydence walked me back to my house and Killian said

"We will go back to the park, have fun with your mom."

I laughed and said

"Okay."

Killian's POV.

As Kaydence and I walked April back to her house because she had to do something for her mom, we talked about this stupid school project. It was a really random topic but, whatever. When we got to Aprils building I said

"We will go back to the park, have fun with your mom."

She laughed and said

"Okay."

Kaydence and I Said

"Bye"

then started walking back to the park. When we got to the street (Where we had to jaywalk) it was super busy. I said to Kaydence

"Lets just run."

Kaydence looked at me shocked and said

"Are you crazy, do you have a death wish?"

I looked at her and then ran. As I ran a car came for me but someone pushed me out of the way.
