"people who keep getting their heart broken should stop trusting other people if they wanted to be happier, right?"

[0.0] 'JUNGKOOK AND YOONGI'

[15th jan.]

JUNGKOOK WOKE UP for the fifth time that week to see Yoongi with a cigarette in his hand. And it pissed him off to unknown extents. He controlled his anger as much as he could because he knew that smoking had recently become the older's coping mechanism. But, Jungkook just couldn't understand how someone who'd had people close to him stolen away by the ill-effects of the miniature death stick fall into the same trap.

He couldn't and wouldn't let Yoongi destroy himself. Enough was enough.

He practically stormed into the room, the door banging against the wall as he pushed it away in sheer frustration. The older didn't even flinch. He just sat there, unmoving, one hand maneuvering the mouse and the other holding the cigarette as he stared at the monitor, the blinding glare being the only source of light in the dark room.

Yoongi was typically awake at these odd hours and Jungkook had gotten used to waking up to check on the older. Yoongi had, up until recently, been in what seemed to be a loving relationship to Jungkook before the elder was dumped for someone else.

It broke Jungkook's heart when he saw Yoongi stumbling into the house at five in the morning around two weeks ago, drunk and slurring, tears streaming down his pale face as he muttered the words, 'Am I not enough?' over and over.

Jungkook had been worried sick that night, drinking almost four cups of coffee to keep himself awake as he waited for Yoongi to return. He was terrified that something had happened to the one individual he cared more about then his blood brother.

He had been angry. So, so angry. But, all the anger subsided however, when he saw Yoongi's weakened, broken state. It flared again as he thought of Yoongi's ex-boyfriend, Hyunshik, the one who was responsible for the whole messy ordeal.

Now, Yoongi was calm. He hadn't mentioned anything after that night and he seemed even happier than he was before. He had been burying himself in work, only coming out to grab some food and water and Jungkook was finally tired of this scene repeating itself.

It's not as if the younger hadn't given him space or time. But good God, Jungkook missed his best friend, his snide remarks, his dry comments, his usual cold demeanor and the shy side he showed on rare occasion. He missed the man he used to trust. It was time for Yoongi to open up.

His train of thought stopped when he was towering over Yoongi's chair which was still facing the monitor. "Yoongi hyung, have you lost it? Stop this shit!" Jungkook was furious as he bellowed those words only to be met with complete silence.
